I personally prefer the square edges of the 4/5, but I always use a case and I'm sure I can get one that gives a square feel in your hand. I will end up getting the 6S as my 24month contracts 'expire' in September so I've had the 4S and 5S because of this pattern.

Is that not so it doesn't continue to use your data allowance whilst your phone is locked/app is minimized? That's what I've always assumed, and it makes sense if so. I'd hate for it to continually try to buffer videos for example if I was on a video heavy website.

Pliers or grips on the end of the cable to pull the end away from the arm. A sufficient sized drift/punch should then knock the sleeve out of the caliper. Although to be fair, as above - a pair cables isn't too expensive.

Is scrap not still down to around £50 a ton? Bung on ebay at a £200 starting bid and hope for the best. Someone will spend around £400/£450 as a 'buy to break'.

Identify the measurements. Go to a fixings place or punch the numbers into ebay. You'll pay a fraction of that.

I may be wrong, but I'd suggest you leave it alone and get a dent guy out as attempting it yourself could make it worse/harder to sort.

If the gearbox was quiet as a mouse, would you have been more inclined to keep the car and do the clutch/bearing? Because you'd be taking the box of anyway to do that. Just put another box back on it the noisy ones place. Unless you'd have kept on driving it with a noisy bearing, obviously.

£100 box and a day assigned to change it. Plenty of guides on here if you aren't initially feeling competent. Yet you'd put the effort in to break?
