The 205 GTI took almost 25 years to really show an increase in value. And now you can buy a half decent example for not a lot of money. An average Escort RS Turbo increased much more in recent years than a 205. The Ford badge plays a big part in this.
It doesn't sound so much that you can't afford it.
It certainly sounds like you can't justify it.
Plus you are thinking/talking about it too much. What you should do is get involved in a low cost form as Tony Hunter suggests. If you throw a couple of grand at it and realize its not for you...
I can see where you are coming from with the recaros. I make an effort to get in the car without intentionally brushing past the bolsters - and every time for a split second I think to myself 'easy does it'.
I do feel the kangaroo and flat spot can be 'driven out' with a bit of thought/careful...
Yeah, I had the same. Filled a 4s 16gb, had around 20gb on my 32gb 5s (therefore would have had to get rid of some stuff) so didn't want to bother with a 16gb 6s. I've a few friends who have 16gb versions of either model and fill them easily.
Yes I probably should back it up and clear the...
It's worth noting what capacity you are getting for these prices. Naturally the cheaper deals are for the 16gb version - which is you are new to the iPhone may not be sufficient enough.
I don't keep music on my phone and with images and apps could easily fill a 16gb so went for the 64gb.
I believe (from what I read a while back) that as the phones get older, the battery percentage number becomes out of sync. My 5s used to die at 7% or drop from 7 to 1%.
I pay £39.20 a month with Vodafone (£49 contract with 20% employee advantage discount) - on a 64gb model with just £69 down -...
Ordered a 'Spigen Capsule' case today. One of the better looking cases from what I saw online when having a search.
Mine has got very hot on a couple of occasions, to the point it smells warm also. I lost several percent charge in a matter of minutes yesterday from watching a youtube video...
I was looking at indoor covers last winter to bung on my 205. Didn't get round to it in the end and it wasn't actually THAT dusty when it came out. Quick wash and bobs your uncle.
Plus it's nice to open the garage door and stare at your cars, naked.
I may have one somewhere which I can measure.
If it was me, I'd just buy one of the ~25mm2 black cables they sell with ring terminals each end and bung that on.
I can appreciate where James is coming from. I once tackled a very very stubborn filter and the screwdriver eventually tore around the filter and left the base and a mangled mess of metal. Luckily it was just on an old block and I managed to chisel it off.
Despite not being bothered about upgrading for a couple of months or so - My local Vodafone store had a signboard stating they had stock so I popped in and picked up a 64gb Space Grey. I always go for that as I don't personally like the white fronts you get with the other colours and I always...
I meant the Huawei's in general. Only ever seen one and had it down as something you'd pick up in ASDA or similar for sub £100.
I'm not trying to belittle them - that's just the generalisation I made. No doubt they are a half decent bit of kit that will in time promote themselves.
I must say...
