You know when Evos have got under your skin when you see ropey examples and you still get that 'pang' of wanting it! Oh how I'd love to be able to get a minty Scotia White VI in my mitts again...

    Acid Yellow Vee on ebay

Acid is a great colour when viewed up close. But knocking on for £40k -especially once the urgent work needs doing to it? Nice. But not that nice.

    From Gaming PC to Laptop.

Ah - sounds good if you need an all-rounder, then. There is the option of outputting the image to a bigger monitor/TV - but I guess you're defeating the benefit of a laptop in the first place, doing that. One thing I've started to see creeping back in popularity are the docking stations. A...

Took a punt on Grim Dawn. Supposed to be quite good from the reviews. http://www.grimdawn.com/

    From Gaming PC to Laptop.

Apart from the obvious 'gaming laptop' considerations - I'd have to ask whether or not you needed it after stating "...sold as I didn't have the time to use it and was devaluating day by day" Are you likely to use this any more just because it's portable? Just an observation....

    Decidedly average sale so far.

    Boot lid

I don't 'think' there's any difference in the boot lids - even through to the V6 model. The only difference I'm aware of is that the 182 Trophy and V6 models use shorter struts as they have larger spoilers on top and the aerial stem would hit it, otherwise. Don't take my word as gospel though...

The Power PC Thread [f*ck off consoles]

Just had my remote delivered for the PC. It's at the far side on my desk at the minute - so this will make it a little easier to switch on/off - in theory.... ;) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B019OBKWBC/?tag=cliospnet01-21

Is this chap on here? Integra dc2

Exactly what you need in a driver when s**t like that happens on track. He's clearly aware of looking around him and in the mirror and not panicking. Good effort - a shame he didn't have the space to save it.

Bent 8 inlet valves after fitting dephaser

How rough is 'rough'? They aren't the smoothest of engines, but I actually like them for that.

    Rotten Front Radiator support

Has that taken a clout from the underneath? Maybe the knock was enough to crack or split the original paint coating and once that opening started to get wet - you were on a downhill slope. I hope you manage to get it sorted!

So far I've bought two expansions for Order of Battle. Quite clever how they give the core game away for free, the expect you to pay for the campaigns afterwards. These were £14.99 each, but in the sale have come in at half that. I also bought MGS Phantom Pain purely on the basis of how good...

Agreed - some of the prices of hardware that's around 4-5 years old is superb - if you know what you're after.

The Gaming Thread (General Gaming Jibba Jabba)

Has anyone had experience with the VR options of late? There seems to be a lot of discussions between the 60fps and 90fps spec being worlds apart - though I don't know if this is just 'bigger is better' talk. For gaming, I'm also a bit unsure to just how useful VR kit is? Elite Dangerous...

    Before going to halfords.....

I'd say that if you're new to cleaning/detailing, there's little point jumping in spending a fortune on kit that has little meaning to you. Halfords do a wide range from Megs (Meguiars) through to AutoGlym (AG). Although a lot of the detailing guys on here would use higher spec stuff - there's...

I'd say Project Cars is in the next tier up from Forza, m8. It's not a ultra hardcore sim, but certainly requires more thought and skill to progress smoothly than the likes of Forza. Hence, I agree with your concern that the pad might not be up to it. It's a shame that demos through Steam seem...

I'd say so - yes. I've bought all the DLC over time, so to have them all at once is worth it. Personally, I think it's a right handful with the pad. But that's just using the stock configuration and not using the online setups that @Cookie suggests. To be honest, I need to give that a try as...

    Table Top Racing

Never really understood that view. They are still your mates even if they aren't there to join in your game. It's like buying a diesel car because all your mates have one. What happens if the majority of them buy a cheap PS4 and starting to play that more often, now that you've sold yours...

I didn't even realise that the EVGA Precision Tool was on Steam? Weirdly, with 'achievements' too. I'm pretty sure that the bottom one of these two will be pretty rare to get. :)

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (PC, XBOX ONE, PS4)

That sounds a proper shitter m8. I guess that's always a risk with the RPG type games. There are so many levels of story paths, encounters, dead ends, etc that you can end up being railroaded down a situation that he game won't let you 'back out' of. I'd be pissed if I'd put 260 hours into it...

Rear Pad Carrier - can't get bolts to line up

Lol - you hit the same issue that I did a while back! Stick a long, sturdy screwdriver in that top hole and lever it to the left. It moves with hardly any effort, allowing the line-up of the bolts again.
