The macbooks are rumoured to be announced tomorrow, will most likely be a 13" version, although my 15" powerbook is more than portable though and the smallest iBooks were tiny, too small for me.
There's also the 17" macbook pro which would fit the requirement of being a "large laptop" for home.
Wouldn't get one from orange, it'll have the cack orange modded firmware and that cripples most phones they supply! My mate had a symbian based phone from orange (he was one of their 3g trialists) and he hated all the rubbish they put on it.
You know that monaco blue is the way forward! ;)
I see more 182's than I do 172's round here. (cambs) Although I pass the same silver 172 every day on the way to work.
Got a URL?
Cheapest I've found sim free is around £520, although it's more than likely that the price of this will drop when people start getting in large quantities of stock.
Hence the reason why I said "the hd is at worst a fragile component waiting to fail".
Give me solid state any day of the week.
Edit: Just to add, I can guarantee that the failure rates on the N91 will be higher than the N80.
Glad it wasn't just me who thought that then!
I'm not entirely sure what all the fuss is about with the n91, the hd is at worst a fragile component waiting to fail, and it's considerably worse looking than the n80 imho.
It'll be more interesting to see what the actual phone companies will...
Seconded. Biggest pile of w**k ever. Awful user interface (come on, it's 2006, how about implementing proportional scroll bars), over complicated search....
Thank god I only have to use it when I try to find a receipt when I want to upgrade software etc.
Damn you!
When I was in Australia at christmas my mate had broadband (LLU stylee) installed, he basically lives next door to the exchange, 24 Mbit...grr!
He was loving the fact that he could download top gear episodes faster than he could watch them!
Yeah, like griff said, BT wholesale have currently got an issue with it selecting the wrong profile, they've got a temporary fix but it might take 72 hours for it to kick in.
When I first connected yesterday I was getting the full upload but download was limited to 2mbit, when I got back from...
Who's on MaxDSL then?
I finally broke the shackles with hell-net, and moved elsewhere and straight onto MaxDSL.
I'm currently synced at 8128/448, but I'm not expecting it to stay that way as my current SNR margin is 6db (apparently the target level by BT), but overnight (as normal) dropped...
Lol. You really wouldn't want mine then!
Doesn't bother me in the slightest, it goes in my pocket and the only time it comes out is to charge or put tunes on it, other than that I never look at it.
Give or take the same as me, £430, secure parking, 13K miles/year, could have had it for around £410 without guaranteed courtesy car etc.
This year was the first time it ever went down on it's own, usually I have to change insurers each year, this was the cheapest quote I could find.
Apple is just apple.
Microsoft were fortunate enough to find themselves in bed with IBM, 2 guys working from their garage were never going to out-muscle IBM, but they did a pretty good job nevertheless.
Steve Jobs being forced out in 85 was a pivital point, after he left lots of bad decisions...
Wall street liked it, apples share price shot up after the announcement.
The point is that not having an amount of windows compatibility has stopped a lot of people switching to mac, this problem doesn't exist since the release of bootcamp yesterday.
The only piece of software that I need to...
If you have a PPC iMac then this will be what you require, you can pick a suitable camera from the list then.

Be aware that neither adium or the microsoft msn client support webcam, you'll need to use aMsn or mercury messenger to get that working.
I have no idea. I've only ever heard of 1 person being allowed to move without penalty (I read the plusnet adslguide forum all the time).
Griff seems to know what you should be saying, maybe he can give you more details in a pm or something.
Like griff said, that won't get you off. That's well within BT's spec for your service. You're going to have to come up with something better than that!
Ahh...this is a new change, it's hard to keep up with them all because there's been so many!
It's actually now called the SUP, (sustainable usage policy), a few weeks ago it was the FUP (fair usage policy) - under the FUP you could move without penalty if plusnet asked you too.
I suspect that...
Unfortuantely this is the "new plusnet" who couldn't give a rats ass, they won't be caving in. There's people who have had no adsl service for weeks from them and plusnet still wont let they move without penalty fees.
