Ticks a few boxes this one.
2.0d badged as an 'R'
s**t private plate
Crappy 'R' matching decal on the bumper and to top it off a fully functioning flashing brake light stuck on the bottom of the bumper.
Rest of the car was bog standard, wheels, ride height etc. What a moron.
A few cars from today at The Carding Shed. Had breakfast and a workshop tour.
Cosworth 4x4 powered
Lovely 205 GTI
You really don't appreciate how big these are until you stand next to one!
GT40 Replica
Points if you know what this is without googling it!
Nice SL
Me and the other half have 5 insured between us currently. She's got 3 on a mulitcar policy at around £800 a year (2 x Minis and a Jimny). I insure the other 2, Jeep Wrangler is on a normal policy using my no claims and my MR2 is on a classic car policy at <£200.
Combined its roughly £1400 a...
No photo because I was driving but I was behind an Audi A6 a couple of days ago with an RS6 badge on the back, along with the TDI badges still. Completely boggo basic diesel A6, not even slightly modified.
Why? What's the point?
About 5 miles ago :). It had all filters, plugs, oil, belts etc when I put the engine in the car. It runs spot on so I can only assume the cat needs a proper clean out or swapping.
Yes the lambda and HC results being where they are suggest a good fuel mixture, but high CO says otherwise which is slightly confusing!
What should I be looking for on the lambda readings? It has 2 precat and one post - would I need to be looking at all 3? Looking at voltage fluctuation I...
Not on a Clio, this is on my MR2 Roadster.
Sent it for an MOT yesterday but it failed on emissions. HC and Lambda were a pass but CO was over. Picture of the results below. It did previously have an engine that was burning a whole lot of oil, so there is potential for there to be some residual...
lol at 2k gear changes! What did you drive previously, an HGV?
N/A engines generally need revving much higher than forced induction to make power. 2k is fine for pottering about, but if you want to make progress you need to be getting up to 4-6k as that's where the power is (the little that it...
Lovely example, but I reckon you're going to need to put a lot more effort into the photos to get the interest at that price. I'd be getting photos of the underside, sills etc to show how clean it is. Good luck with the sale, if it's as good as you say it needs keeping that way as they are few...
I have an Otofix D1 lite. Paid <£200 from Aliexpress (UK seller though so arrived in a couple of days)
Uses Autel software and comes with 2 years out of the box. Its bidirectional too which very few are at this price point.
It's bloody brilliant!
Not quite how it works, the first 2 digits are the week number so 0525 would be week 5 of 2025 not the 5th month, but close enough when we are talking about 15 year old tyres!
If it's a key that did previously work, shouldn't it just need re-syncing to the car? I'd imagine there is a relatively simple button pressing procedure for it, rather than needing CLIP.
25nm according to this

Not sure what you searched for, but took me 5 seconds to find :D
Couldn't tell you. My dad is the reseller, so I assume he's making a bit on it - I've never asked as I see it as decent value regardless. Price above is what he charges me, so I'm not making anything on it - just offering to help out a fellow CSer. I know renewal is a fair bit cheaper, it's...
I can probably help out. Not as cheap as some folks have mentioned in here, but something like £120 will get you access to everything for 12 months. All UK TV (Sky Sports, movies, Pay per view etc) loads of foreign stuff along with 20-30k movies on demand (many new/current) and about 7-8k TV...
Saw this at Crystal Peaks in Sheffield over the weekend. Only 6 left on the road according to howmanyleft. Was in pretty decent shape for almost 35 years old!
