    Amazon fire TV sticks

Yep, 30 days worth of catch up available on ours. Just checked and the Sky Sports F1 channel in there and goes back to 13th Feb (y)

Look like Borbet C's. had a set of those on my Corrado back in the day.

Earth cable - what do I actually need?

I don't know anything about the Clios earth cables, but when I needed to replace one on one of our Minis I used these

It sure is a bit weird. Assuming I've got the reg correct from the photo that is of course (which it looks like I have, make, model and colour all match)

Shame it's SORN and has never had an MOT (well not since the electronic MOT recording was introduced!)

    Servicing

I'm going to go against the grain a little here, but If it's just a general service (not belts) then most places should be competent enough to service a relatively basic 2.0 petrol engine surely?

    Nintendo Switch

Been playing GTA on my daughters old Switch Lite (she had a new Switch for xmas). GTA3, Vice City and San Andreas 👌

Marring in plastic soft top screen

Yes, exactly that. I was yellowed and cloudy and came back to about 90% perfect.

Marring in plastic soft top screen

I've used this stuff before and it worked well. Was on a Megane Cabriolet years ago. Renovo plastic window polish

Intermittent ABS fault (Mini R53, not Clio)

I'm hoping to avoid doing that, they're not the easiest things to remove in one piece. I might give it a go though. A new sensor can be picked up for less than £20 though so I might just stick a new one on anyway.

Intermittent ABS fault (Mini R53, not Clio)

I'm just after some suggestions before I start digging deeper. I have an intermittent ABS fault on my Mini. I've just had my fault tool plugged in and when the error happens the front left wheel sensor starts to give a lower speed reading than the other 3. 3 sensors will be reporting the correct...

    The new tool thread

Just treated myself to a new jack. I've had a lightweight ali one for years but it's on it's last legs and was only a 1.25t thing, so struggled to lift anything of a decent size. I'd forgotten how heavy a decent sized jack can be, this thing is 37kg. Halfords 3T low profile jack I didn't pay...

Clio RS 2013 Where is ISO cable?

Very few (if any) OEM stereos have ISO outputs. You'll probably need a speaker to ISO converter of some sort. It takes the output from the speaker wires and converts it to an ISO connector.

Clio RS 2013 Focal 130AS speakers upgrade problem

This is the one i was calling half a screw. Id still be trying to put 2 more screws in if i were you, regardless of the fact the oem speaker was only held in with 2. The more securely mounted the better.

Clio RS 2013 Focal 130AS speakers upgrade problem

The one and a half screws holding the speaker in won't be doing the sound quality much good tbh.

    All good here

    Eezibleed alternative.

That mat be correct, I have a couple of pressure bleeders too so next time I need to bleed anything I'll try both and see which works best for me.

    Eezibleed alternative.

I recently bought a manual oil extractor pump thing that has adapters for brakes/clutches. I'm yet to try it on brakes but it sure works well for oil! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0CC8G4GV6/?tag=cliospnet01-21

    What to go for …….

OEM tyres were 215/45/17 - are they any cheaper or do you specifically want 225's?

    Does my engine sound dodgy?

s**t yeah, just looked in RPD - £611 for the full kit Inc dephaser, water pump etc.

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Not a photo of the actual car, as I was driving on the A617 at the time but I saw a black Ford Cougar V6 yesterday. I can't remember the last time I saw a Cougar on the road!

    220 alarm,turn off internal sensors.

My first thought was that English clearly isn't the OP's first language, then realised they're from Huddersfield, so my assumption was correct :p

    MR2

I've enquired about the 1.8t components and it's not a cheap conversion. circa £3-4k for mounts, driveshafts, loom etc
  27. Chrisgti6

    MR2

Not for now, I've just got a low mileage std replacement that I'm doing a rebuild on before dropping it in. I've stripped the replacement engine but not found the time to put it back together yet. It's having a complete rebuild including all bearings, rings, seals, gaskets, oil pump, timing...

    MR2

Yeah, I put some BC Racing coilovers on it about a month before I killed the bottom end 😆
  29. Chrisgti6

    MR2

Nice! I've got this one sat in my garage awaiting me finding the time to drop in the replacement engine. Great fun to drive!

    Preload rear full coilovers

I've got BC racing on my MR2, I believe they set preload from the factory so shouldn't need altering unless you want to change it of course.
