It sure is a bit weird. Assuming I've got the reg correct from the photo that is of course (which it looks like I have, make, model and colour all match)
I'm going to go against the grain a little here, but If it's just a general service (not belts) then most places should be competent enough to service a relatively basic 2.0 petrol engine surely?
I'm hoping to avoid doing that, they're not the easiest things to remove in one piece. I might give it a go though. A new sensor can be picked up for less than £20 though so I might just stick a new one on anyway.
I'm just after some suggestions before I start digging deeper. I have an intermittent ABS fault on my Mini. I've just had my fault tool plugged in and when the error happens the front left wheel sensor starts to give a lower speed reading than the other 3. 3 sensors will be reporting the correct...
Just treated myself to a new jack. I've had a lightweight ali one for years but it's on it's last legs and was only a 1.25t thing, so struggled to lift anything of a decent size. I'd forgotten how heavy a decent sized jack can be, this thing is 37kg.

Very few (if any) OEM stereos have ISO outputs. You'll probably need a speaker to ISO converter of some sort. It takes the output from the speaker wires and converts it to an ISO connector.
This is the one i was calling half a screw. Id still be trying to put 2 more screws in if i were you, regardless of the fact the oem speaker was only held in with 2. The more securely mounted the better.
I recently bought a manual oil extractor pump thing that has adapters for brakes/clutches. I'm yet to try it on brakes but it sure works well for oil!

Not a photo of the actual car, as I was driving on the A617 at the time but I saw a black Ford Cougar V6 yesterday. I can't remember the last time I saw a Cougar on the road!
Not for now, I've just got a low mileage std replacement that I'm doing a rebuild on before dropping it in. I've stripped the replacement engine but not found the time to put it back together yet. It's having a complete rebuild including all bearings, rings, seals, gaskets, oil pump, timing...
