My brother laughed when he saw I was using scart leads on my Xbox, I've no idea why...
He suggests I purchase an HDMI cable instead, again I've no idea why...
On eBay these cables can be bought for as little as £1.70 posted, I'm guessing I avoid these?
As my brother is of little help, could...
Agreed... I've mentioned it several times already but they're 100% better to drive with a fast road set-up, much more responsive and predictable as they're a little sketchy standard. I personally think the fuel economy is poor, but I don't do any motorway miles in mine. Despite being in a...
True.
I've come across both standard and modified Mk1 Focus RS's on track and there's nothing in it between a standard Focus and a Clio Sport, pretty much down to the driver on the day. A modified Focus on the other hand is a different story, potential monster!
Agreed.
I don't see how 0-60 times and insurance groups mean cars can't be compared. The Fiesta ST is a few horsepower down, just means it's a bit slower than a Clio. It's not like the Clio Sport is aimed at old folk.
As far as I'm concerned the current and upcoming versions of the Fiesta ST are comparable with older and newer models of the Clio Sport. The Fiesta Zetec S is the less sporty Fiesta.
Tell me about it, I wanna live in the US for the same reasons only I ride Bmx. I snowboard too but it's not something I'm passionate about, although I've watched RedBulls 'Art Of Flight' several times now lol. :)
You're best off speaking to someone like Steve at Grinspeed, and tell him what you've done and what (if anything) he thinks you should do regarding set-up and tyre wear. Hankook V12 EVO's are a good cheap(ish) tyre, way better than T1-R's in my opinion.
Where in the US are you thinking of...
It was one of those days I'll never forget... My mate thought his MK4 diesel Golf was rapid, although in reality it was nowt special. The lads Cortina appeared in front of us one day and my mate chuckled and said "What the f*ck is that piece of sh*t", to which I told him it was my brothers mates...
I know a lad around here who has one similar to the one in the OP, but Cosworth powered and silly fast. As a joke I encouraged my mate to have a play against him in his mapped GTtdi Golf, it's fair to say my mate was surprised and annoyed.
Nice mate!
I can't believe what places try to charge for fitting, my mate did mine in 2hrs and he didn't rush. Car looks clean and tidy which looks best in my opinion, I only like the JDM mods if you go all-out and go mental. As for the FRSU there is a MASSIVE difference in the way the car...
Vs threads are pony anyway, too many contributing factors... Main one is the driver.
At Oulton Park the other week there was a guy ranting in the pits at another guy saying it was a 'trackday, not a race'. The guy he was moaning at was an obvious seasoned track driver, E30 caged up... Slick...
I played this last night and really enjoyed it, but then I'm not a hardcore gamer. I like a game I can pick up and play for an hour or so without worrying about completing levels or unlocking achievements. I might buy it if I can get it cheap.
