If you want to show him some figures.... being as most people believe that figures are the be all and all of car performance.

172 cup bhp/tonne - 170.85
polo gti bhp/tonne - 117.21
Clearly no competition whatsoever.
It's £483 mate... not sure how that would work for you though as you're in Germany. May be better off buying the matched inlets and induction setup and getting an RS tuner.
LOL. Polo GTI's standard are s**te. Your cup will destroy it. As said though, they're quick once mapped (in a straight line at least) but you'll still have him round the twisties.
But regardless of what you say to him, he won't listen. So they only way to settle it is cheeky traffic light...
To be honest, you're lucky they didn't fill it.... if they had, then you wouldn't necessarily noticed that it had been done and wouldn't have contacted admiral. It probably would have gone unnoticed until it started cracking.
Yozza make a 'race' system and a 'stealth' system, but because they're made to order, you can get it made as loud or as quiet as you like.
Induction, none of them will give you any power, but the JMS setup won't lose you anything and you'll get a nice bit of noise. Matched inlets and a remap...
Come to my house and see it. Lol.
It would be the best of both worlds, but oddly, she's stripped and track prepped the 182 and uses the phase1 as a daily....
4.52 CS post ftw.
The k&n will not give you any performance gain at all, most induction kits lose power, but I don't know about this one in particular. You're better off with the standard airbox and just a panel filter. If you want noise, buy the V6 airbox.
Nothing :) that's the best thing about CS, you can get the opinions of people who have already make the mistakes! Hopefully I'll be able to help others in the same way....
+12, 6 hours lessons and 4 minors, one of which was for taking racing lines (in my lane) down a country road
But anyway. Standard non-sport things to do are lowering, wheels, RS grill and colour coding body bits.
As danny says, redstuff pads are said to be shitty (although I've never used them).
Where do you live? Maybe se if someonewill take you for a drive so you can compare the two. What tyres are you using? They have more to do with the braking distances than anything else....
I prefer the look of the minilites BUT I'm a firm believer in keeping classic cars like this standard tbh.... but there we go, I don't own the thing!
Respect on the car choice by the way, so hideously ugly, that it's cool.
You definitely shouldn't be embarrassed mate. It was f**king awful before, but i like how it's ended up (except theskirts). much more subtle.
If you come to a meet, you'll soon realise that most of the people who will criticise on the internet are very different in person. It's very easy to...
