As above - G 172 is the Brake Guru on here - take onboard what he says!
I've used EBC Redstuff in the past and have personally had no problems with them. That said, my 182 has never been on track - purely the daily commute and the occasional A-road blat. The last set of pads I bought were...
I've never really thought about it. But I'd normally just say 'Clio 182' and see what their response is. They either have a clue and make some Williams/172/fast-little-b*****d-2litre engine comment - or simply have that 'ok' look on their face.
The Evo is better. That really polarises the...
There you go, m8! :)

Well done on the choice! :) Are you going for the arctic blue 182 or the racing blue 182 Cup? Or even, the uber-rare petrol blue? :)
I know Essex is a long way from Scotland - but if you can make it up there with your new purchase, you'll get a real sense of what they are about. I did a...
Mine was new (though it did say 7 miles on the clock ;)) and I'm now North of 120k.
Get's anything and everything it needs comes servicing time - brakes, tyres, clutches, cambelts, oils, you name it. Coming from a Jap background, you'll appreciate that more miles but more servicing is worth a...
Getting rid of the standard exhaust was the best mod I ever made to the 182. I appreciate that the extra noise isn't to everyone's taste, but the standard item is poorly made, weighs a hell of lot more than an aftermarket item, prone to trapping water and rusting quickly - not forgetting the...
Cheers Carl - much appreciated. My OEM wiper arm (passenger side) was an absolute b**ch to detach. Just wondered if they needed that much tightening to put back on? I doubted it - but thought it was worth asking anyway. :)
D.
^^^ - that would be absolutely gutting to see. :( Off topic, are those tyres the wrong way around?
Only ever saw one of my old cars and pulled up to have a chat. The owners were at a garage getting two new tyres for the front. Looked like they were looking after the 'ol girl too :)
D.
Just a quick check - how tight should the nuts be on the bolts that hold the front wiper arms on?
Is there a torque setting? Or do you just keep tightening until it stops? :)
Cheers,
D.
Wilkeh summed up a good spread there. Others I can think of are:-
Jagged Alliance 2 (an acquired taste but pretty good)
Kingdom Rush - if you like tower defense games?
Broforce - still in pre-release but a good 2D game
Altitude
FTL - Faster than Light
Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Complete -...
As JMR says - it's possible that you've got a V6/Trophy spoiler fitted, but have the standard 182 struts on? The V6 tailgate when open, I have to make a conscious note to duck my head. I don't have that issue with the 182.
If it helps, I can take a picture of my standard 182 spoiler along with...
My 360? I don't think ever. The PS3? Enough to be annoying. Catch-up TV and the like is fine - but games - especially GT can be a pain. Only last night I had a blat on the Goodwood Festival of Speed track and upon quitting, the screen went black and the console hung.
Proportionally, giving the...
I know we've come across Rail Simulators, Trucking Simulators and the like before. But really - how many numbers in terms of sales can they have got from the following?

It annoys me when reviewers/media go on about the cheap interior.
It's a bobby basic Jap saloon that been engineered to out-handle and out-perform cars many times more expensive.
It is what it is. Not a Bentley or an S-Class Merc, FFS....!
D.
Both great cars imo. I've always wanted a VI for the looks alone - the fact that it was a 'relatively' rare car and handled brilliantly, were just multiple cherries on the same cake for me.
No Evo can ever match a Scoob for noise though - and there's something really appealing about an older...
Couldn't agree more. Even if Renault did put pen to paper, it would be heavily boosted, relatively small capacity engine. The V's were far from Dieter of The Month in terms of kerb-weight to begin with. Add to that, the increased health and safety stuff, and the commercial pressure to load up...
Nice step-up from a Saxo VTR! I went from Punto GT to my 182 over 9 years ago and I definitely noticed the improvement. You'll be doubling your power I would have thought? :)
As Chi says - make sure the belts have been done or factor-in some money if they need doing. Birchdown in Malpas is...
Thanks sn00p/Andy - my brain has attempted to follow the above and is currently dribbling out by my ear lobes. ;)
High-end stuff guys - waaaay beyond the comprehension of us mere mortals!

I loved BL2 when it first came out, but it got a bit samey after a while. You can play as Claptrap? Please tell me you can insta-suicide when you start the game? He is single-handedly THE MOST annoying character, this side of Jar-Jar Binks.
I tried some many times in BL2 to kill him off....

Hi Andy,
Looks to be in working order so far - and there are several ISA slots as seen in the pic below:-
Not checked the other specs yet, but it appears to be a 120-day Eval version of Windows 2000 Pro, SMC 10/100 NIC, 1GB memory and a whopping 6GB HDD. :)
Do you want to PM me your...
I think I have an old Compaq Deskpro 2000 at work with a P166MMX. I can check if that has an ISA slot on it for you? Otherwise, it will get WEEE'd.... :)
edit - according to this, it does have ISA?

FFS! Don't get me started on that, or XP bonuses for those who have bought Premium! ;)
I'm similar - never got anywhere near top rank on BF2, but I do recall the proper sense of achievement when you finally did unlock something. Or if you managed to get the drop on someone who had the better...
Wow - you'll be struggling. I used ISA cards back in '92 - switching to PCI not long afterwards.
Could you source the same unit, but with a PCI interface? I'm guessing you've tried that already?
