plenum is the same fitment afaik
but you would also need cable engine loom, ecu etc whereas with the cable engine its all there ready
depends what works out cost wise, if you can get the fbw engine cheap enough it may work out cheaper to buy the plenum, loom and ecu etc seperate and swop it...
i kept watching ebay, signed up to a few salvage sites to get updates when they got clio's in aswell, rang round a few salvage yards but all of them i found had high miles or could only sell me certain parts and not everything in one go
eventually one was listed on ebay, it had been on for...
because a big gaping hole looks a bit gash imo, they arent gonna weigh that much (taking a dump before going on track will balance it lol) and i like filling my time with little jobs like this :rasp:
yeh ive looked into some sheeting and it is super expensive, may end up making them out of plastic like a mate has done, looks just as good just without the carbon effect
its not your fault bud, as you say would have been ideal tho :dapprove:
yeh everything bar qtr cards but i can do that sat morning before you get there, will get the gf to give the carpet a hoover for you aswell ;)
i wish i had realised you were selling your buckets and were looking for px :(
could have killed 2 birds with one stone there! you want leather i want buckets lol
man i am royally confused now lol i hate electrics at the best of times
i only have the engine loom, not car loom,so what is to stop me decoding the ecu and then wiring up what i need to the existing valver loom? ie ignition, warning lights etc?
i make it sound so simple dont it lmao
oh the joys i have to look forward to :S
what is all this about uch's and transponder immobilisers? i thought having the ecu decoded would sort all this out? or is there more to it?
what does the uch look like?
how come the 16v column wont work?
i got a spare rack with the car aswell, its in a plastic bag so havent looked at it yet but its prob a power steering unit rather than manual :(
what your pas pipes are in the way of the manifold?? that cant be good!
im just trying to find a manual steering rack, found one on ebay but its listed for 91 to 94 models, and the valver is a 95 m
anyone know what the differences in the rack will be?
exactly! thats why you should expect mixed comments, they arent all gonna like it! as long as you like it thats all that matters!
i havent even seen the pics btw
cheers that is just what i needed
no i didnt get the cat :(
although i have been looking at this
http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=2034

dan - have you been able to try the clutch out at all? there are so many people using so many different combinations lol its just finding one in a running car thats difficult lol
right spoken to the guy at renault again
he narrowed it down to 2 parts, one he selected is written in french so he is assuming they dont order many of them??!?!? the other was giving a part number of 77 00 725 720 can someone check that on the dialogys?
says it is £20 + VAT which is...
