how did you get on with plumbing the 172 in dj? did u make up the pipes yourself or could stuff be re-used?
and are you using valver driveshafts?
so what is stopping getting a 182 complete engine, swapping the inlet for a cable throttle type, and then using 182 ecu and loom and pinning that to 16v car loom? (that sounds too simple doesnt it lol, will the 182 ecu know what to do with a cable throttle setup or will it cack itself?)

yeh wonder how long the valver box will last, surely thats why your rear g'box mount lines up ok? cos u are using the original box? wasnt wayne using a laguna box?

i have a simota on my 106, its good but its not real carbon, some stick on stuff that flakes at the edges. still cant fault it for the money i paid :)
was that just the engine or gearbox, ecu etc included? what mileage has it done?
i looked at a few options but FK were within the budget for my suspension, not sure on brakes yet :S

well i always wanted a 16v when i had my wee 1.2 as my first car
but then i erm, well......crashed it a bit.....
and after that i had another 1.2 runabout, then traded that in for the 106 and had that ever since. fancied summat with a bit more power as a second car for track and weekends...
couldnt find owt for gass, but spoken to john at 2modified and was really helpful, did a price match and so have ordered them from him
