Congrats m8, you maybe even able to keep up with me now !!!!
I found I was using less petrol while running in. Then after the breaking period you start to floor it here and there and you notice how much the car really drinks. I have to sell a vital organ a month to pay my petrol habits.
GP,
I can get about 350 - 400 miles out of a tank. This is done by driving up to York and back from Essex only htting 70mph and a light foot
Bloody hard though as you have t***s driving past you in Nova you just want to toast.
I found I have to reset the computer evertime I travel to get an accurate reading. I dont know if everyone elses is the same.
BTW the tank is shapped like a bear bottle so the first 1/2 is really quick to go.

I think there is an SAE rating to go with that, The SAE rating is listed in the manual and also on the side of the Can of oil. If this is the same I cant see there being a problem.
I think alot of people run 10w40 anyway and I think this is what it comes out of the factory like anyway.
SAE Viscosity Ratings: Viscosity refers to how "thick" or "thin" a liquid is, or how easily it pours. Viscosity also is commonly referred to as "weight," as in a light-weight or heavy-weight oil. Viscosity is really a bit more complicated than simply "thick" or "thin" or "weight," but the...

This is the response I got from Haynes a while back while enquiring about a 172 manual be it a mk1 or mk2.
"We will not be bringing out a manual for the 172 as this would prove to us to costly as there are not many 172 owners out there"
Made me laugh when they said that

Two Mackems are riding along the A1231 from Gateshead to Sunderland on a motorbike. They break down and start hitching a lift. A friendly trucker stops to see if he can help and the mackems ask him for a lift.
He tells them that he has no room in the wagon as he is carrying 20,000 bowling...

At the moment his rolling road is not setup as he has just moved location but sometime close after Christmas this guy will be setup and ready to go...
