Sorry not "so thing when" but "so thin when"

Do worry m8 I had to look deeply into what oil I was going to use and did a little bit of studying. The 0w40 might make the engine a little noisy cause its so thing when it is cold. I would go for the 5w40 over the 5w30 just simply cause it is a touch better at higher temps - suppose not...

Sorry yes uit had the Renault recomended ratings on a the oil come in a 5 litre tub as well - most come in 4 litre so you have to buy 2..

Basically Because our weather in england doesnt go to extremes eg. -20c to say 50c The lower the first number the lower down the oil protects at extreme temp and the higher the upper number the high temps it can work at. Does that make sense kinda ?

I have changed my oil once so far at 1000 miles and I will change it every 6k after that. The oil is Carlube. BTW I have just found out it is 5w30 and not 5w40 sorry.

Daipac, I always chaneg teh filter when I do the oil change. The filter is so cheap its not worth risking it. Grade - I personally use 5w40 fully synthetic, but you will get different answers from different people. No worries about the destruction BTW as I wouldnt pay £60+ to get one of...

GP, I can get about 350 - 400 miles out of a tank. This is done by driving up to York and back from Essex only htting 70mph and a light foot Bloody hard though as you have t***s driving past you in Nova you just want to toast.

I found I have to reset the computer evertime I travel to get an accurate reading. I dont know if everyone elses is the same. BTW the tank is shapped like a bear bottle so the first 1/2 is really quick to go.

Wes, I suppose that isnt bad if you are doing town traffic but you should be getting at least 30mpg..
