    I think so as a few people have gone back to get this done. The other issue with the headlamp washer balls is they tend to fly out leave you Balless !!!

    Hype, Read Dealer Stamp ! Heeeeeeeeelp ! thread to get the 2 part of the answer. You WILL need to send docs back to renault to qualify you for the full 3 years warranty.

    anyone describe their ’loose baffle’ sound 172

    Mine happens if I am driving in a straight line and doing 4k.

    I have always had a vibration sound coming from around what sounds like the glove box / floor pan area at 4k could this be the baffles as well ?

    Another question about brakes..

    I dont think they have to be changed at 12k only if they are worn badly. Maybe that had been changed and have worn down quickly (softer pads maybe). I wonder if you can tell if they are the originals pads by looking at them or not.

    Zidan, When I have taken the back wheels off to clean I noticed (On a brand new 172) that the back pads are about half as thick as the front ones, I suppose due to the fact the breaking is done mainly on the front ! Quite a few people report renault changing the pads on the 12000 miles...
