While we're on the subject, does anyone know the colour code for the silver on the mark2 172 alloys or even the true name of them?

I was thinking of buying the Sigma 28-300mm f/3.5-6.3 DG Macro (Nikon AF) Lens as it covers the full zoom of what I want from a lens. Did you consider that before purchase JJ! ??

Works all day does that tip, I sometimes use toilet roll on the built on flash on the Nikon but it's rare I use flash at all.

I got told they were putting a Renault Sport 182 engine in the Modus by a sales Rep nearly 4 years ago. I'm still waiting.....

Between 3/5 hours dependant on if I'm waxing it and cleaning the engine etc. But I usually clean the interior too at the same time. That takes about 1 hour on its own.

Some people do find it easier to use AF, I don't begrudge anyone for using it, I personally don't though. Personal choice tbh, everyones different :approve:

I took 2300 shots at world renault series in 2007 (over both saturday and sunday), 990 of those were the owners laps and 'winners' laps. In total I deleted 600 out of the whole 2300 as they were either blur, too far away or wrong setting.. Not bad for manual work I'd say ;)

Not had any problems so far and it's a 02 plate, but there's time yet. :o ( Could always lie a little and fill the report in anyway ;) )

^^ As above, paint programs 'guess' what colour and pixels to put where when enlarging photos. So no matter what you try you'll always get some distortion.

^^ lol .. I used to use a 35mm SLR camera without Auto Focus before my DSLR and used to manual focus all the time, my D40 has the AF switched off. :)

It's a pretty good lense for the price, I paid £100 for mine at Jessops in August last year, I take mine everywhere where the camera goes. :)

Hydraulic suspension next Jordan? ;) :p lol Looks nice as is... Leave it matey, too much will spoil it :D
