Just got a summons for 101.8 on a dual carriageway. Pleading not guilty. I wouldnt worry about 90 in a 70, thats just under 90 anyway and its a 3 pointer. And even then I doubt you will even get done unless you actually want the points that it...how exactly are they gonna prove that it was your...
Any phase 1 or 2 valver in blue is 449 Sports Blue.
Anyway, AFAIK most common/popular colour (whichever way you prefer to think of it) is blue. It just suits the car very well.
Best colour IMHO is the factory black, I think its a slight pearl or metallic but it looks meaner than the other...
Good choice. Welcome to the world of French motoring - strange rattles behind the dashboard and untraceable electrical faults LOL and thats just the new ones!
If you can afford it get a Williams rather than a valver. Thats basically it. Ive got a valver myself. I love it, but if Id have had the money at the time I bought it, to get a Willy, I definitely would have. The fact is I didnt and Ive spent so much on my valver now that it wouldnt make any...
Well technically theyre not even Gordini stripes...seeing as the Clio has nothing to do with Gordini at all LOL. But I do think they look kind of cool. Its a hard call...I dont reckon theres any way they will look factory, even if they are. They just look like two white stripes.
Better to...
Depends what your originals are. If Im right theyre something like 6x14 arent they? Offset should be 36mm. Basically any 16s or 17s you buy nowadays are gonna be 7" wide - so youve got to accommodate an extra half inch each side if you stick with the same offset. I would have thought they would...
Well I dont know...I had heard about that, and to be honest, with the hassle that it had started to become over the last year or so, I think its a good idea. It shows that the authorities are beginning to realise you need to work WITH cruisers not against them. Cruisers will come regardless of...
In brief -Yes. Southend.
I assume youre not from Southend then LOL...I dont live there any more but when I did, EVERY Saturday night Southend seafront was packed with cruisers. I dont know whether youd call it a cruise, cos you dont have dicks in Burberry caps donutting their Metro by putting...
IIRC the phase 1s had a completely separate circuit for the immobiliser, it wasnt linked to the central locking or alarm or anything. You had to actually stick the key in the lock inside the glove box, turn it and then the immobiliser would cut in.
Maybe I just like my music louder than anyone else and Im being unreasonable? Its an old Pioneer MD head unit with its pair of preouts running straight to the amp under the passenger seat, I think theyre Monster Cable or something, then Ive got some big thick power and earth cable (about 6 or...
Yeah maybe thats it. Ive found the manual. Its a JBL P80.4 which apparently gives 40w x 4 into 4 ohms, 80w x 4 into 2 ohms and 160w x2 bridged into 4 ohms. Im pretty certain all my speakers are 4 ohm jobs, so that means 2 x 40w to the front and 1x160w to the sub. Is that enough power for the sub?
182 wheels stink. They are the ugliest factory wheels in the world. I really dont know what Renault were thinking. They look like Audi wheel trims and also have the distinction of being the only wheels available that look bad in anthracite.
Get the Turinis. Or be hardcore and get the white mag...
Right, cheers for the replies. I just said 1.5 cu ft off the top of my head, let me think...the front face where the sub is mounted is about a foot square. The bottom is a foot deep. Then the back panel goes up at an angle but not at 45 degrees, so there is a flat top bit as well, probably 6"...
Ive decided that the wedge shaped MDF sub box in the back of my Clio is a bodge and I want to make something different that will fit into the rear footwells. Ive just bought a fibreglassing kit to keep me busy over the winter LOL
The plan is to have a shape that basically fills the two...
AFAIK Alcantara is the upholsterers friend because it is so easy to work in comparison with other materials. Thats why a whole dash can be done in one piece. Id say use a light going over of that spray glue you get for doing sub boxes, then stretch it and staple it down under the edges.
