With the Clio being small, it doesnt take very long to polish, and if it is finished with some gloss stuff it only needs a quick wash and leathering off when it gets grubby, and the shine stays quite well for a few weeks.

Black is nicer - the silver ones look as though they havent been painted! Black is less common than silver, of which 90% of 172s seem to be! ;)

Well I know of two Clios which have been rolled, and both were hardly mishapen at all, even the windscreens stayed intact, so they must be pretty tough. Maybe that is why the roof is a bit higher than on the earlier Clios, perhaps there is some strengthening material inside it.

I always find it too much hassle getting our one out - too many wires, electric extensions and hosepipes etc. If Hubby has set it up I might use it but it is too much bother getting it out myself.

Just get some old wet towels or t-shirts and lay them on the affected areas and after a few minutes the bugs will be damp and you will be able to wipe them off. If you have a hose handy give the cloths a good soaking which will make the job quicker. A friend does this to his motorbike helmet...

Daz I was wondering if you could swap them around, but having just looked at the picture, I see that they are Toyos, so because they are directional, you can only swap back for front and not side to side.

Mat Have you still got the original slippy Contisports on your car? I found them to be a bit dangerous at times, causing the back to slide out even when going slowly, and I find that my Toyos are much grippier by comparison, wet or dry.
