No. Just don't do it.
All that will do is mask the problem. If it's tappy (above the normal F4R noises) then you need to have it looked into. Do you know what oil it has in at the minute?
It'll be fine. Drive at whatever speed/revs you like (within reason of course, you don't want the French 5-0 on your tail)
A sustained 4-5k revs won't do any harm at all.
Renault Parts Direct don't seem to have increased prices yet so you might be able to get a bargain from them if you need a parts now/soon http://renaultpartsdirect.co.uk/
before spending on the car, how about some tuition so that you can get the best out of the car. I would think that would be the easiest way to make you faster around the track.
I know you aren't in the UK, but did you ever see the episode of Top Gear where Jackie Stewart shaved 20 seconds off...
I wasn't suggesting you do it yourself, I just got a bit carried away with my typing. The CS masses would faint if that was suggested as it just physically isn't possible for a mere mortal to get the timing right on an F4R.
The belt on the 197 is SLIGHTLY easier as access is a bit...
Why will you be paying through the nose? If you go to one of the specialist you'll be paying the same price for the parts anyway. None of them add much if any margin on top of the price they pay.
The issue with supplying your own parts is that as you are the one that bought them, the warranty...
So you think the full £100 an hour goes to the mech?
He'll be on £15 / hour tops, the rest pays for the building, tools, heating, lighting etc etc. It's called overheads.
Don't just guess at it. Best to get someone to diagnose it properly.
if the light is coming on, it should have stored a reason code with it. either get the codes read (cheap, not 100% going to tell you the issue) or get a proper diagnostic session sorted (ideally by someone with CLIP) which...
strip them, clean them and apply a very thin smear of ceramic brake grease, not copper grease. Changing the pads isn't going to fix it if you are sticking tons of copper grease on them.
Was that 20 minutes from cold start?
Something still not 100% IMO. It should take longer than 20 minutes for it to get hot enough for the fans to kick in at idle.
I'm with @Goodj on this.
If you fit uprated speakers, but don't amp them sufficiently it can (and probably will) sound worse than OE speakers.
The main issue in a Clio is the lack of any real substance to the doors, floors, roof etc so if you start increasing the volume and bass all you do is...
My guess is you'll want a tie rod, track rod end and an anti roll bar bush.
As for part prices my guesses would be:
tie/track rod - £25
TRE - £15
Anti roll bar bushes - £15
Cost of fitting - if you don't have a tool suitable for undoing the tie rod then it's probably going to be easier (and...
I had 2 fitted to the front of my car on Christmas Eve, I had Pilot Sport 3's before that.
Wet grip seems comparable if not a little better, but I'm yet to have play in the dry. I think the side walls are a little soft (or at least softer than the PS3's) as they feel a bit more forgiving on pot...
First time taking a picture of the moon with a DSLR, I know it's nothing compared to what some of you guys can/are producing, but I was happy with it. This was Christmas eve, on the driveway leaning on the wifes car roof.

The I believe the D3300 uses the same sensor, it certainly the same size and MP count at least.
I bought the D3300 dual zoom kit before xmas, £319 with the cashback (which I received in less than 2 weeks). It's basic in the fact that it's not got WiFi, GPS, touch screen but in terms of picture...
Well it looks like someone has attacked it with a dremel - badly!
A few things - firstly, did you compression test it? If so, what were the results?
How have you checked the valves? They could have a very minor bend that wouldn't be visible to the naked eye.
Do you have the full set of timing...
I'd say it'll go 50/50. Both should have been looking before undertaking the manoeuvre. Car parks are terrible for this sort of thing. Morons shooting out of spaces without looking. Tesco @ Alfreton is the worst round here.
1*2 is used instead of 172 and 182.
Yes, phase 1 or 2, it will not have anywhere for this part to go. The ARB is slightly different to most cars as it clamps directly to the suspension arm, rather than having a 'link'. The lower engine models have them, so whoever sold them to you will have...
