    Turbo Conversion Reliability?

It will depend on a) how well it has been built and b) how far you push the power. Low boost, built well should be no different to a std car. High boost built on the cheap, expect problems

Are my photos rubbish? And how can I improve?

Balamory is actually a place called Tobermory on the Isle of Mull, similar though.

Someone hit 'n' run my rear quarter panel - possible suspect

Personally l don't think it's from that van. That looks to be old damage to me, and too high maybe? Decent dent guy will be able to remove most of that I think, depends if it's damaged the paint or not though. Can't tell from the pictures. It's s**t when this sort of thing happens, but not...

    How much?

No idea on price I'd guess at £150. What are they tyres? Linglong 3000's or something decent? If crappy tyres, I'd be tempted to have them taken off and sell as bare rims. Easier and cheaper for postage and for the buyer to get them refurbed.

    How much?

I think your idea of 'not bad nick' and mine must differ quite a lot!

    OK new question

It's just a Clio at the end of the day. 'Mint' or not. It is a car, to get you from A - B.

Cruise control. WONT turn off! Cars possessed.

This is a funny thread! In most cars you can easily get up to 30mph + without any input from the accelerator just by carefully going through the gears - it's normal!

Xenons and osram bulbs need help!

How often do you use you full/main/high beams? I know I wouldn't notice a difference because I rarely use them.

Sell them on afterwards too, you'll recoup most of the money. That's what I did!

Get yourself over to ebuyer, they have some OK cheap laptops.

    Back in Jap! Mazda content

Do they? Mate of mine has an MPS and he's never mentions any issues with rust. I know the older mazdas were known for it, but I was under the impression the p1 based stuff was ok.

Anyone recommend a code reader/diagnostic machine

Ahh right, can't help them I'm afraid.

Anyone recommend a code reader/diagnostic machine

Clip is renaults software. You can get copies of the required cables and software on eBay for less than that tool, however it will only work on Renaults.

Anyone recommend a code reader/diagnostic machine

If your thinking of spending that sort of money then surely a clip clone would make more sense?

Where do I stand with this .. Police/Number plate content

Fogs blazin' yO! Should have fined you for that alone! I'm kidding of course, but how you could you not know that the plates weren't legal? I think you were lucky they let you off to be fair.

    The first home computers

My dad's first PC had an Intel 286 processor, couple of years later he upgraded to a 486. I remember them costing ££££ too! 25 Mhz processor FTW!

    Volvo S40

They're sales people, they aren't going to tell you it's possibly going to ruin your wipers. It's still worth reading up on the issues. Here's one thread I could find. I'm sure I've seen one that details all the issues too. I'll keep looking...

A bit fussy or not ?

What has a gearbox change got to do with ac buttons? I'm struggling to see how the 2 things are connected.

    Volvo S40

They have a habbit of burning out wiper motors or something. Theirs a few threads about it over on swede speed forum. I'll see if I can find you the main thread sometime today. I think you either need to use a specific kit, buy an additional wiring kit or just run the risk of killing the wipers...
