    Downgrade Complete (Shed content)

I felt the same at first, but now I'm starting to like the 'old school' feel it has to it. It's certainly better built than the 197 and costs bugger-all to run, I'll admit it won't win any beauty contests but I'm going to see what I can do about that! I'm in two minds at the moment as to where...

Probably not, only reason I went on track last year is because someone gave me tracktime.

best car cleaning stuff !!!!!!!!!!! really makes your car stand out.

The car supermarket I work for sells GardX, which customers are told protects your car for 8 years so that you don't have to polish it. ...That's b****cks too.

Easy... Park near some bright artificial lighting, use a tripod and remote shutter to avoid camera movement. Set the shutter speed to 30 seconds then whilst the shutter is open shine a flashlight onto the bodywork of the car.

    clios vs's porsche vids

Porsche driver looked like he didn't know the track, and at those kind of speeds the inevitable happened.

Yeah economy is excellent, the tank barely holds £40 but that will last me well over a week where I'd be filling the 197 up after about 4 days lol

Main thing stopping me doing that was I fancied something different, I'd already owned a 172 and a 182 so I decided to break the mould.

    Downgrade Complete (Shed content)

The 197 is now gone... I'd had it two and a half years and it's been the best car I've ever had, but with the finance paid and running costs crippling me I decided to let it go. I have higher priorities these days, and after several trackdays of 'SteBurns style' driving I was certain something...

Fiesta ST Crash at the Nurburgring (clio camera car)

Agree with the previous comments, having been to the 'Ring I can see the appeal... It's much more about the experience than getting quick laps, we were going round at a decent pace without taking unnecessary risks. It's nothing like a trackday really as the change in risks influence your...

Would you buy a Cat C Clio?

I've been offered a Cat C 172 Cup by a local garage, here's the deal... - 2003 172 Cup written-off very early in it's life at 11k miles. - Completely re-shelled with a new body from Dieppe. - Re-built by a Renault specialist after sitting in a garage for several years. - No identity, owner...

    Torque Wrenches - your reccomendations

Unless a torque wrench is regularly calibrated it will never be accurate, which makes buying one a bit pointless tbh.
