Re: The iPhone 5S/6 thread...
To be honest - hardly anything. I had my 3GS almost from launch and that lasted me 4 years. Only got the 5 the other month - so there's no way I'll be upgrading until at least iPhone 7 at the earliest. Just compare the 4S and the 5 now - you have to be a real anal...
Not that it helps in this situation, but I got the auxiliary belt replaced when I got the alternator swapped out. Just not worth the risk imo.
I'd get the full aux. belt kit swapped out - not just the belt itself. No real idea what damage could have been caused in there. Hope you get it sorted...
Defence Grid is epic - played it loads on the PC. You're missing out if you can download it from free! :)
That said (and I'm not just saying this from the PC perspective) - but it really helps if you have a mouse with this. I can imagine it would get a little frustrating with the pad.

No. 6 is definitely my favourite as it includes so many aspects of the day. Great shot of part of the track, giving you some idea of the elevation and surface involved. The Porker shows a good scale aspect then the family line-up in the foreground. Ticks a lot of boxes!

We use GFI Faxmaker with a 100 user license as we're massive fax users.
Works a treat. The biggest cost you'll see if you setup your own fax server is the ludicrous costings of the faxboards. Our Dialogic PCI 2-port ISDN card was circa £4k, but you might be able to get a cheaper option given...
Noticed those yesterday m8. They are still beta though, aren't they? Only had one BSOD is literally yonks - the first day CoH2 was installed. But as that's been patched already and I've had a reformat since, everything has been fine.

Reformatted my PC on Friday night, only to realise that Steam doesn't record your campaign progress - doh! Such an epic feature of Steam when games support it - I wish more did.
Trying to get a co-op game going with two of my mates. I'll be honest so far - it's NOT as good as the original...
Excellent pics gally. Just shows you what's really involved when you get a decent repair done.
The only criticism I can make is that you're too far north. The bodyshop I used to use has now closed - so when are you selfish sods moving down south? ;)

Re: Elite sequel
Looks like they've come a long way with this. Chatting to Cookie yesterday and he forwarded the link below....

Potentially a life-destroyer, this. I remember so many conversations in the school-yard about games of Elite. I never knew anyone who...
I misread the thread initially, and thought you'd switched to putting those 15"s on! Thank go it was the other way around - lol!
I actually preferred the ride in the 182 when I borrowed a 15" set of Speedlines - so much so that I was really tempted to swap full time. That said, they had track...
Flaps look good - just not in the 'look at me blue' :)
Always dismays me when having spent hours cleaning the BG182 - the worst paint damage is always around the section behind the front wheels. I applaud manufacturers that fit little protectors to the cills and rear edge of the wheel arch...
I'll have to retry it. The 3rd and 4th pics in the link below show what I'm on about.....

Have they improved the targeting at all on that game, m8? That was the thing that turned me away from it. Higher percentage accuracy for enemies behind cover than those stood out in the open and closer to you? :S
Seems flawed, but still a good game.

It's mainly due to two factors. First is the scaling of the game - any one soldier on those screenies I've posted can be zoomed into - to a point where you can see individual items on his uniform. The other 'system killer' is the real world calculation of line-of-sight for each and every unit...
Interesting and brave decision (for here on CS) to switch from a GTi to an Astra. I've actually quite liked that shape of Astra - unique, but quite subtle too. It's a shame that you couldn't get the Turbo version - but as you say, it's a cost saving exercise too.
Looks well on the Omegas. :)

An hour in - so far, so good! Looking forward to playing the campaign all the way through :)
Needs Scone's PC to get the absolute 110% best out of it though. Very graphically demanding. Carl - I suspect you'd have to make a fair compromise to get the game running smoothly on that Mac. There's...
I wouldn't want to try it tbh. It requires Win7 minimum (won't run on WinXP) and is pretty heavy on PC hardware as it is. To get it to run on a Mac that use notoriously average graphics cards in the first place - means you'll probably be on a loser to begin with. :(

Looks like he might be at those pearly white gates??

Yep, the 3M kit is the way to go. To do them properly you really need a good couple of hours. To be fair, I could do with doing them again, but I might tie that in with removing the front bumper next time. I'd imagine that you'd be able to do a much better job with the headlight units actually...
Loved the Fiesta ST that they had on the Ford stand at Oulton. Interiors mean faff-all to me, but even I had to appreciate the effort with the seats.
They appear to be getting rave reviews too. So nice to see Ford pushing a worthwhile Fiesta out again, now. :)
