Very good point. However, if they manage to balance the vehicles/mechs with opportunities for the standard grunt to inflict serious or even fatal damage on them, then that should even things out.
They must also have an ammo count or overheat function if mainly armed with energy weapons. Again...
I hope they charge for this though - not give it away free and then have you pay for your own uniform, canteen, mag pouch, gun, name or pink hat.
I agree with Munson to an extent. I only ever buy the COD titles for the SP campaign mode. When done right, there are some great set pieces and an...
Technically (though unlikely) it could fry one or more of the wires in the structured cabling. Don't forget, the wires are really quite thin and would have made a perfect transport medium for lightening to travel through, if accessible to the storm itself.
If you're running 10/100 speeds over...
I think you've hit the nail on the head there, m8. If you look at it as an ongoing concern over multiple years, it doesn't batter the wallet much at all. People laugh that you're spending that much over circa 36 months anyway, but it's clearly horses for courses. I know people who can't abide to...
That was back in the days of the 6 monthly upgrade cycle! God I miss those days. Developers pushing out ludicrous graphical capabilities that would kill 70% of the PCs out there - simply knowing that within 6 months, that ratio would drop to about 30%. That push forward, that desire to say "look...
I'm actually surprised at the lack of any issues I've had in well over a year now. The worst I had was with Rage when running on an ATi card. I never did see if they fixed it as I swapped back to nVidia shortly afterwards and the graphical issues went away.
By far the worst niggling issue I've...
Went gloss black years ago on my BG182 and just last week, got them powder coated in gloss black again.
Couldn't imagine going back to anthracite now - black is the way forward. ;)

Interesting. Will be great if they manage to pull it off. Some of the best racers for me are those where you're being a hooligan, weaving through traffic. Hopefully this will be similar rather than a desolate tarmac setting?

Cheers! :)
She's up for sale at the minute though. Just made the commitment to a new mortgage and a new property and as much as I don't want to admit it - there are bigger priorities for the pennies!

Went by you on the M56 on the way back from Oulton. You came off at the Cheadle junction on the M60. I would have let on, except I was in the Evo at the time :)

Well the gloss black painted OEM alloys on my 182 were getting well past their prime - so I decided to go down the powder coating route.
Having heard about CAS Coatings (http://www.cascoatings.com/) through another thread on here and them not being a million miles away from me - I decided to...
Because it works well and people like it. You could argue why people prefer ignition keys on cars rather than the stupid proximity unlock/key-card ignition systems. Some things rarely need changing - and the Start button was a prime example of that. It's logical, it's straight-forward, it's...
The flamethrower is definitely the weapon of choice. But I like the fact that you have to be in relatively close to the enemy to have a chance of setting them alight. Otherwise they would be way to powerful. Excellent for storming a bunker or building though - just as they were intended.

To fit one-way valves, he would have only needed to undo the leading edge of the front arch liner and pull the washer tubes out (they are held in place with a clip). There certainly shouldn't be a need to remove the full liner. I did that on mine over a year ago having got annoyed at the washer...
Universe Sandbox is on for £1.74 at the minute....

Not really a game as such - more of an interactive planets and space application. Would be great for kids doing space-related work at school and/or people just generally interested in the genre.

Had another two rounds last night and got thoroughly owned - lol. SO much better playing with headphones on - especially as there's a lot of verbal chatter in this game, meaning that enemies can be heard long before they are seen.

Had a quick two rounds and so far, I'm more impressed with it than RO2. Pretty much as I'd hoped too, there's a more 'relaxed' game mode, making CTF and the like much more enjoyable.
It conveys the idea of 'keeping your head down' very well and makes you realise on a trivial scale - just how...
Took a punt on this today - mainly for being a bit of WW2 geek - especially on the Pacific Theatre.

Looks to be fairly intense and quite non-COD like. I'm hoping its not quite as unforgiving as Red Orchestra 2 - as that game cut you zero slack at all. Great if...
