Doh @ the messed up link! Fixed now mind :)
Yeah... Suprised its that high from starting at 99p at 3pm this afternoon. Already met one guy whos bidding for him to have a look - although as usual the idiots have come out in force on eBay with their silly offers...
Keep the E34 ;)
Someone may get a bargin, gave up waiting for people to see ads. So... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330518985138&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Yeah, they are more snappy than hard, think its just the way the pressure plate is... was the same on the valver I had
Softpedal bits are under £30 from Volvo, simple stuff really!
Upper Sump, Lower Sump & Oil Pickup replaced last week, fresh oil and its back to normal. Done around 500 miles and its just as it was :) Quick clean earlier...
Oh and... http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2392327.htm
Possibly the reg if you could smell burning, happened to Adams. Replaced the regulator with one from another Mk1 alternator and its been fine since. When you give it some revs and the lights go out, whats the voltage on the battery?
Was going to say may aswell buy the oil switch for the price it is, as it will probably be that. I have a mechanical gauge and line somewhere but its not M14 like the oil pressure switch so would need an adaptor, which would probably cost more than the new sensor
It is possible to get the sump out with the engine and sub frame still in position... done it on a 182 before and removed the oil pump...
Id be saying oil pressure switch, quite common that this problem gets posted on here. Wouldnt harm to get the pressure tested for piece of mind though..
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
2009 probably mainly sh*te tyres and crap setup on the day - 2010 ended up being better with adjustable rear dampers, playing with tyre pressures more, different tyres etc...
Re: Mk1 F4R/172'd Track Car Project
Well....... I went to start the Clio last night after it being sat since the 31st October. Started fine thankfully :)
Oh and another one I've only just got round to uploading... Not so many clips from 2010, but a good reminder of the fun had in 2009 :boring:
