My other half just sold her TT (225bhp, grp 17) and got a SportKa (95bhp, grp 11) and it cost us an extra £120. She had only just renewed on the TT too, so its not the time gap that did it.
The mind boggles.
Very nice. I really miss my ph1 172... the 182 just never felt as focussed. Renew the suspension with standard shocks and you'll be amazed what the car can do!
Blue halogen bulbs are illegal.
I recommend Philips BlueVision bulbs, which although their name suggests otherwise give off a nice bright white crisp light.
Easy to cut it yourself. Line the exhaust up loose and mark where the cut needs to be... then I would use an exhaust surround from a car of your choice (182 ones look good) as a template. Cut away a small amount of material at a time, checking against the surround as you go.
Xenons.
You need to buy the projector lenses which were optional with your car when new. This will allow you to fit an HID kit safely without blinding everyone else on the road.
Projector lenses will be around £100 a pair second hand, and about £50 for the HID kit.
So strange to see it all so long ago. Amazing how the tracks stayed the same but the surroundings have changed so much! Adenau bridge for example... where's Edde's place? lol
Yeah, Ady can do them for you. He's a trader on here.
