If you are confident with a soldering iron, and working with surface mount components then it's easy enough to do yourself.
Think window switches are even easier iirc
Yeah I'd be up for this. Could probably drag a mate of mine along too. Will have to check which dates I could do though as me and Jackie go to London for the weekend in December, and its my works party on the 16th so that weekend will be a write off lol

There's no reason not to go through insurance. It doesn't go down as a claim.
If ya have windscreen cover, just ring a windscreen company. They'll sort it all out and you never even have to speak to your insurance company

I've fitted a brand new Febi engine mount today. No problems its an easy job. However when comparing the two mounts side by side, the new mount seems to make the engine sit about an inch higher than the old mount.
Its fitted on no problem, and the engine doesn't seem to be sitting at a dodgy...
