Sorry, i read the original post incorrectly. i thought you had been overtaken by a clio with a v12 badge on lol.
your neighbour clearly knows nothing about cars lol
+ 1 domjolly.
I have the Ktec stealth "supersport" with unsilenced de-cat.
Its loud! great description "a load of pissed of wasps" lol, i like that.
I felt it sharpened the throttle response, making the car livelier and pulled slightly better higher up the rev range.
from the Clio Williams all the way to a Clio 200, they are "rev happy" they need to be pushed hard to get the best out of them, thats the joy of a high revving N/A engine!
Just let it get warm, then give it as much beans as you like.
Sorry for double post, just looked at both shift kits.
If you actually look at the pictures properly you will see there not exactly the same, as you claim.
They are similar, i give you that, but not an exact copy.

I imagine he could of got something else for the price, but its not always about that. I bet he is very happy now he has it all done!
His next project sounds very good!

As for the handling being on par with a Clio, i have never read this anywhere.
The ST185 is what the Fiesta ST should have been all along, and for me that makes it a very good small hot hatch, but nothing exceptional.
Just wait, i got about in my old mk1 1.4, then when i was able to i bought my 172.
At the end of the day your making your car look like the thing you really want!
Im so happy i never touched my 1.4 as i sold it on as standard and when i got my 172 it put the biggest smile on my face and it still...
There always going to be idiots driving cars like a tool, dont let this put you off buying a 1*2.
You can stay away from the whole chavvy image if you keep the car looking factory standard and drive with some good manors on the road, which then gives clio drivers a good name.
As for VTR/VTS...
Ah right, car looked really nice mate, i was passenger in my GF's C3 lol
You may see me about i got a black 172 with ktec stealth supersport...so you'll defiantly hear me lol.
