Looks good mate, i got the supersport stealth on my 172, non silenced decat as well. Sounds great, deep burble and then goes insane after about 4.5k revs!

The golf, 40bhp more and shed loads of torque, bit of a no-brainer really.

Not sure how much difference, maybe someone else has one on there clio, be good to get an opinion. Biggest difference you will get is suspension and brakes though mate, you'll be able to push on with confidence knowing you can brake well and the car wont handle like a boat when carrying speed...

Brakes and suspension is what you want, will make so much difference. Just to add, the mark 1 clio came in 3 phases the mark 2 came in 2 phases (not including Campus so you could call it phase 3 if you like) the mark 3 is now in its 2nd phase.

You wont get big gains. I agree that you should spend on better brakes etc, being able to brake alot later is excellent. theres no point in going fast if you have to brake so early, the brakes will give you more confidence. The power boost valve will help acceleration.

Good luck with it, ignore the badge snobbery, Skoda's are solid cars (VAG remember!) My dads got a Octavia, never a problem with it.
