Started the car up this morning and I noticed when i left for about the first 5 mins i could hear a noise sounded like a bike when pedaling backwards. Went faster when revved higher and after the 5 mins just stopped completely. Nothing else happened, was driving as should be. Any thoughts...

lol @ craggy... Paul - Not sure mate, but like I said to you, most valvers at the RSC were pushing the same power as yours with similar mods. Jimbo who has exactly same mods as me was pushing out exactly same power as me even the the 0.01 both bhp and torque. Bizzare!

My valver got 121.3 lbft torque. Not too bad considering its a 1800. Paul16v got 20bhp @ fly higher than his result today at another RR a couple of months back with no change in mods. Apart from different air filter. Pics up soon....

yeah i had the same problem with my old rt. was in mega traffic jam on the M1 and noticed my temp was at max. got of and was on the bussiest roundeabout possible when the engine was steaming so i had to pull in and stop in the middle of it Fan was buggered!

You have to be carfull mate, if ur dry of water and u fill it up you could easily crack the head when the cold water hits it....

try it in a 306 then. youd have trouble doing a 3 point turn on the M1 if it was empty....

Possibly I changed mine as you did and it made it loads better. They still have a bit of movement though!!
