Yep, you're definitely right there. Only having 2Gb hurts it for modern games, but it blitzes F1 2019 and GTA 5 for example. I've been really impressed with it for what it is, certainly better than anything else I could find which was going for £100.
They’re usually returns, maybe there was a slight mark when they arrived, maybe they were faulty.
I would literally have been paying £100 extra for it being in a retail box rather than repackaged in a brown box, so bugger that. It’s a £1500 TV when not a refurb
I just picked up a 55” one of these from the John Lewis outlet in Swindon for £1040. It’s epic. Was a “class b” refurb because of a tiny, almost invisible mark on the frame and because it didn’t have the original box. Could have paid another £100 for one in the original packaging…. Yeah, maybe...
I'm building a low end gaming PC out of bits I had spare, just for fun really, I'll probably sell it on for what it cost me when I'm done. I was missing a graphics card which is obviously the killer these days. Ended up buying a venerable GTX 690 which still more than holds it's own against...
The price for non-LHR cards is off the charts at the moment because supply has dried up.
I bought a couple of 3060Ti FE cards for £700 each two months ago, they sold for £925 each last week. Just mental.
I think that's where Samsung have stolen a march on everyone else - they've got genuine "wow factor" around the new folding phones. The first gen were a disaster but the current ones seem to have ironed out the bugs. Will be interesting to see how long the screen lasts.
I'm long past caring...
Where did you get the phone from? Did you buy it new or eBay etc?
If you go into Settings -> General, is there anything listed under device management?
As already said, sounds like there is some policy enforcement set on the phone - usually done by businesses/schools etc
Availability on the LHR cards does seem to be improving, they're not really of much interest to miners unless they're very cheap or there's absolutely nothing else available so the LHR thing seems to be working at the moment. Prices still stupid though.
I've got a 2060 Super which I'm going to...
That was silly cheap compared to the rest of the market. There's no shortage of them, just the prices are still high. Can't help feeling it was mostly clickbait to get people to buy the "next cheapest" £1300 card they have in stock.
I think it means that every time someone trades that cryptocurrency then anyone holding it gets a cut of the fees. The more active the market is, the more fees. I think 😂
I‘m still just mining and selling up every month. Nice little bit of income.
30 series cards are available again, prices still aren’t down to sensible levels but definitely down from the peak.
Overclockers and box.co.uk consistently have stock at the moment, although it does vary day to day.
Probably, to be fair I've not done it for a long, long time.
Talking about graphics card vs CPU vs memory took me back to upgrading to a 3dfx Voodoo 2 from an original Voodoo.....
Yeah you’ve always got to find and fix the bottleneck for the games you like to play. 200fps in CS:GO or whatever is meaningless if you play something CPU intensive.
They'll have to break the mining lock on them to be worthwhile, 25MH/s for 3070 and 43MH/s for 3080 makes them not worth the investment.
If they work with the dev drivers which get round the lockout on the 3060 then sure they'll be hoovered up but if not then there won't be any point until the...
I’m still waiting for coinbase to validate my account, it’s been eight days now. Not impressed with their support, it’s like a bot is answering.
I got an email saying I had access to buy, sell and withdraw etc, but when I log on it says my account is being reviewed. Asked them if it was normal...
What's that BBC? Cryptocurrencies are volatile you say? Well done. Can't imagine why :ROFLMAO:
Honestly, if Rory Cellan-Jones rolls out his story about buying a pizza with half a bitcoin "back in the day" one more time.....
Coinbase was reporting earlier today that the crash was bottoming out...
