such wide tyres on a small car means that the load of the car is distributed over a larger surface area, narrower rain tyres would greatly imporve performance.
But it is normal for the 1*2's to keep you on your toes in the wet.
Yup bloody bargin! Gear box is worth a large percentage of the car.

Good Question! Not sure myself yet, my uncle is a mechanic so he looked at it and picked it up for me today. Don't get to see/drive it for another month (GRRRR!)

EK9's are group 20 i belive so you will be looking at about £1500 - £1800.
EP3's will be a similar story.
Not many insurance companies will touch them i belive.
Jordans are heavy and not as quick as you would think for 160ish break (glamed up vti-s). Clio would be easily quicker in a straight line and round the corners.
same dilema as me last year (19 student), i ended up with the clio and never looked back.
drove type R, clio 182 and cooper S
182 just did it for me....but go and drive them before you make up you mind.
