I bought a complete 16v head with valves etc for £45. Put a wanted in your local ads paper as i had a few ring me up!

about £50 - £60 if its the whole dash inc clocks. I sold my clocks only for £30.

Looks v smart mate, and the performance to go with it no doubt! Iv just purchased a set of phase 2s myself. Apart from the centre caps will probably be gone in a week i like em a lot. Till the suns out anyway then swap back for a few months.

The 16v engine is a mailto:b@start">b@start to work on compared to the 1.4. But I did get a quote for £120. Hill Power charges £200 i think for the 16v. This is for the cambelt BTW.

It will pick up quicker i think. Rev a lot easier, but once your moving it wont make any difference. Also as it revs quicker it will also drop revs quicker when you press the clutch in! I think it will just give some some more initial HP to the wheels to get the car moving quicker! (set off)...

yeah its the metal water pipe. He was worried it might snap but managed to get it out ok. There are 2 small threaded holes that are extra. for another water pipe i think. Think they need filling in though. Everything ok now. I was starting to get worried for a minute. Cheers for the help!

ok iv now found out that they are slightly different. Will I need to change bits over from my clio head? Im guessing ill need to fill the extra holes in. what about the large pipe at the back.

i bought a spare head from a 19 16v to do up then put on my clio. The guy fitting it has just rang me up and says it is different. Has a few extra bits and some holes in the back that the clio one doesnt have!!!! I thought the heads where exactly the same!!!??? Please help! Im going to...

Dont want to sound thick as sh1te, but as 17s seem to slow acceleration would it make a difference on the rollers with 17s on compared with 15s on?
