The Boston SX55 aren't actually components, they are listed as full-range componenets for some reason, but they are basically 3way coaxials. In your budget, you would have been far better off going for these > http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=3855
Brun's right, any decent set of components require an amp as a h/u will not have anywhere near enough power to get close to the true potential of the components. You would be better off spending slightly less on componenets in order to purchase an amp when working to a budget. I've got a Phoenix...

lol I don't generally make bad comments, and I actually like modded cars, but that 1st black 1 is pretty hideous. I like your's though, should look even better when the coilovers are on!
This is what I would go for in your situation > http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=2981&cadid=2dd1a41550baa3d14b9db83271e3681e
Is your car a ph1 or 2?
If you've got a ph1 you can get a replica 172 front bumper and side skirts from Prima (don't rate the company but they are the only place to source them)
But in the case of a ph2, you need front bumper, 2 x wings, 2 x skirts. Its not the cheapest conversion
It is actually me that owns it mate, where abouts are you from. I was probably on the way back from the doctors when you saw me, what time was it? I'm from Wednesfield.
In your words;
Front bumper = GASH (the car is french not jap)
Rear bumper = GASH (doesn't match the contours of the car at all)
Wheels = GASH (hate those wheels with a passion)
Spoiler = not quite as GASH (doesn't look bad but is awful Prima quality, have had first hand experience of them)...
Yep, the size of the plate doesn't matter, but you still need them to be standard UK font, with postcode and all that crap. I just want totally plain plates, not strcitly legal, but I've never been pulled with my current ones that has my name at the bottom (rather than postcode) and has a badge...
lol thought about that, but the ones I have atm are just a sheet of, what appears to be, paper with the reg on between 2 sheets of perspex. I'd be worried that just chopping the ends off could lead to fraying, or allow moisture to get in.
I'm looking to get some plates made like the pics below >
Where is the best place to get some cut down plates made? Most websites I look at seem to just offer 3/4 plates, rather than cut down ones.
Got this from a mate this morning, apparently it was featured on 'Good Morning America' and is the real deal. Nothing like this ever is though. Says that Microsoft send you $245 for every person you send this email to over a 2 week period.
Is this for real?
