Front speakers are not a problem, I got 6.5in components in with the use of some mdf spacers. There isn't really much need to replace the standard wire unless you are a complete audiophile, it generally becomes more important when wiring up subs.

You have to pull onto the industry estate where Courts, Dixons, etc are but stay on the road that runs adjacent to them, follow down to the bottom and Cliospares is on the corner.
Dunno if there is anywhere to buy them off the shelf, it wasn't too difficult anyway. Most speakers come with a template for the size ring you need so I just used that.
You need to make some mdf spacers to fit the 16s. Cutting is no good because there is a good chance that the speakers will foul your windows by going down that route.

This is about right for the factory speakers but nowhere near enough for any decent components, most of them put out about 12watts rms per channel, which in all honesty, is gash
For god sake please dont listen to Spykee, enough of us are telling you not to get 6x9s. This is coming from someone who has previously owned 6x9s, then realised how s**t they were before promptly ripping them out and chucking them at the nearest chav!!!
