Ah right, they both needed moving on mine as they were no where even near the bolt points on the car. Two steel inch long spacers were made in the end. Burpspeed just use lots of washers and pass scutineering with that :)
The actual engine will be pushing more like 360/370 bhp before the fly which makes it all the more impressive, it wastes it just turning the rotrex.
I didn't read properly, but is that it's final setup/bhp figure?
Impressive results Mark, looks a good job too. The older stuff was a bit naff using steel exhaust tube (not your car I don't recall, was Andy's old one I think)
I appreciate what your saying about the gripper diff, and being set to a lower torque is going to help things last alot longer. This...
Emma isn't happy nope. She genuinely couldn't believe I'd bought one until I picked her up and took her outside :D
It's f**king gutless, like the handbrake is constantly on kind of gutless. But it's rwd and cheap so can be abused

My missus has a meg225 so I do have at least something to play in now and again too ;-) I was looking at 172's on eBay and Emma just flat out said no. Lol, I'm under no thumb of yours, woman!!!
Dan, I'd have thought it be ok on your drive tbh, especially up towards the garage. Flat floor would be ideal but not tje end of the world.
Good times phil, that hasn't taken long to build and paint back up, got to say it does look sexual ;)
dont spend too much ;) took me 4 years to do what I achieved with it. the boot net was from renault, couldnt tell you any part codes though.
its an omp 6 point bolt in cage off ebay. i then welded in the extra cross member and harness bars afterwards before fitting and painting it all myself...
Cheers Arno, been a good laugh and met some great people doing it. If the re-sale value was greater then it would have been sold as a whole but no one would pay anywhere near enough to warrant it sadly.
Doors, boot and bonnet off tomorrow then the scrap yard come to pick it up tomorrow...
dont be sad danielson, you has boost to play with now. i has nothing except a frigging wedding plan lol.
i'll be back on trackdays with something, some day.....
