I know the road you mean, my boss lives up there and also do a bit of biking across the top, dan wants to get some photos with a rig up there
I can't tell you where I live malice, you'll come Nicki rota's as I know you love them so badly ;)
I'll take a video of the road about 200 yards from my door, it looks like it was designed for touge. It's immense.
Muntjacs are a scary lot, nearly smashed the meggy on one last night. Stupid b*****d thing.
I've decided it's not raining enough to prevent me fitting wheels tonight :D hi5
Im on mx5nuts as well and read a lot into it. Boost in at the back of my mind for the time being though.
This rain isn't looking promising for a wheel trial fit tonight :(
Few people have said that, I'd rather use a proper roller if I can as I don't think it's going to be quite low enough to be able to use a bar. Not till I get some proper low coilies anyway.
They weren't wide enough ;) was looking good until I worked out they only come in 6.5" wide, And...
I know what you mean, I had actual genuine Volks on my GTR so may I be a little forgiven?
Pmsl malice, I had you in mind when I was handing the monies over
They seem alright, despite the many haters of Rota out there. The speed this mx5 goes, all four wheels could spontaneously vaporise and I don't think I'd notice lol.

195/50/15 means I can afford tyres to now get drifting on. The 14" tyres are about £70 EACH, 15" are £32 each...
Sc might come with time. Depends how much rust I find in the arches next spring. I've got a wedding and honeymoon to worry about before charging something else.
Cliobritt, was your dads the one you posted on here about 12months ago making 190-odd bhp, built for under £1k? I tried searching it...
Hi Phil
GEN90 is the only plug and play unit. TDF EC1 will require splicing into the original loom or starting from scratch with a new loom, Omex do now offer an off the shelf loom for the clio, or were at least designing one a few months back.
personally, id rip it all apart and starting with...
Had been looking at the under chassis braces too, the mx5 doesn't feel very 'solid' after the caged clio.
Picking up the new wheels tonight from Weston but they won't fit without some bashing about first :)
These turned up today then.... Still don't know what they do lol.
Diff voids purchased in the group buy, should be here this week. To go with the welded diff this should increase the fun
Jewson, shame about the timing lol. Never mind :(
i did, then sold it again lol. was temporarily short of cash and made £20 on the deal. I have so far used one tank of fuel since buying it, 260 miles. it is actually pointless me owning this tbh
Lemonnobby, I used to live in quedgeley but have since moved out towards the forest. The meggy doesn't get into Gloucester that much really :(
Right, have been reluctant to look at one of my rear arches as I could tell it was bubbling slightly. Had a proper look today and they're a rotten mess...
Sharky, just read the last 5 pages or so and sorry to hear about the problems you're having. As you know it could be any number of problems.
You said about costing a fortune getting the car to matts (his cup anyway), how much etc was that? Was it a flatbed van type of affair?
Good luck with...
We've had one with the injector problem. The fuel pump breaks down and send aluminium swarf down the line to the engine. As its ally it doesn't get picked up by the magnets and gets through the filter. Ours needed four injectors and was had to come off. That was the same van actually that the...
From what I can remember its done it from new on both vans, mines certainy been from new.
We've got six of them and had problems with boxes on 4, but they're still cheaper to run inc replacement boxes over a 8 year period than buying the other brands of van etc
Couldnt tell you im afraid. 6 speed, facelift vans. The 06 vans we own have been fine with reverse, just rebuilt one of them but that was the other 6 cogs lol
Bit of a long shot here, but we have 6 renault trafic vans of varying age at work. The newest two vans, one of which is mine, are 10 plate and both on about 35k miles. Both under warrenty so at the moment it's not a concern of cost but we need vans to do our job...
Anyway, randomly now and...
