MOT - 70p (number plate bulb, test was free)
Tyres - £200
Belts - £250
Coolant - £7.50
Insurance - £500 (that can't count, surely?)
Total - £458.20
If it gets damaged, they'll use the VIN number to order the parts required... so you'll get cup parts.
If it gets written off, you'll get money back and cup packs add f**k all to a second hand 182 so you can just buy another one.
No need to mention cup packs at all.
My premium went up £50 due to the fault claim of over £3000.
2 renewals (16 months) later, my insurance is now significantly cheaper than before I had the accident.
It'll end 50/50 in that case. Gutting.
It's beyond me why people try and wiggle out of admitting fault. When I caused a bad accident I admitted liability straight away, as I was the stupid tw*t who caused it! All was settled in 3 weeks too because I made it so easy for the insurance.
