I totally agree with you on the value for money that Renault offer there recaro option for. And get annoyed when people say that its too expensive for renault to charge that.
When I was looking to opt these for my clio 182 when I was buying it new, I decided against it. They were a £800 option...
I love these seats, these are found in the clio197/200 new megane 250 and corsa vxr.
Amazed at the price of them now, they were about £900 each, now they are on capital seating for £600 each, not sure if this includes VAT...

In all fairness, i've had the car over 5 years. This year is the most expensive year i've ever spent on the clio.
Gonna have to be the last year and get something newer.
Noticed this yesterday when i was turning out of my drive.

Try them first, but I dont think sportlines will lower the car enough fo them to look good, and taking in to account the 2118's are 15's as well.
Coilovers will lower it enough, look at ktec or vmax if you dont want to spend to much.
Thats nice, liking them more, and loving the colour, but for me its got to be Alien green and have recaro's.
£1000 is not alot for two recaro's really.
I think all the 182 exhaust are a pain to fit, more so getting them to sit nicely.
An uprated exhaust will make a difference.
I have a yozza and they are great, not as loud as people make them out to be. A decat will def change that with any exhaust.

Scorpion 192 exhaust is supposed to be a little louder than standard. I know milltek and yozza are great quality systems. The choice is your, you can add a decat at a later date.
I have a Yozza and think its a great exhaust, good quality build.
Yozza's are cat-back, so straight throught centre pipe, to one silencer.
Only downside, long waiting times on a yozza, contact fred at btm on here.
Depends on how much you have to spend, but if you were looking at Sportlines, then the next step up from that would be either Vmax or Ktec coilovers.
You would get new springs, dampers and the choice of how high or low you want your car. Bearing in mind, if you have the 182 with cup packs then...
The only place I think you can get h&r's from is BTM performance.
Ktec may able to but stopped supplying them for the 182 cups because they were too expensive.
Not too sure on Avo, never heard it mentioned for the 182's.
H&R's are good, but would love a set of KW's, will get a set
on my next car.
As for the trophy setup, they are supposed to be very good but then you have the problem of lowering them, which I believe you can do on koni's.
It worries me about cambelts and aux belts on the clio sports. My aux belt was changed at 40k by a very respected tuner, and when I got the cambelts changed at 50k by another repected tuner, they said the tensioner kit was put on wrong, hence needed a complete new kit. Makes my blood boil...
