Sorry it is a bit dirty at the mo.
The Cat-back exhaust system has a great sound and is not too loud on the motorway either, It only really kicks in when you rev/floor it. It has a lovely note even at tick over but it is not too obtrusive. Also I have noticed a massive power gain from fitting...
Mate, It is an rfp3215, I have a ported box which is designed for the Sub and works a treat, It is just massive though.
Was thinking about having one that is to fit in a corner if that is possible. Like a wedge shape. Or one that faces upwards inside a box that is like a false floor if this...
Basically I have a full Rockford install which I had in my old car.
This includes a 15" Rockford, but the box takes up most of my boot. This didnt bother me before because I just put stuff on the back seat, how ever this car has leather rear seats and so I dont want to scratch them. I have...
I have a new pair of tyres on the front of my mk1 172 but they are s**t. Renault supplied them, ggrrr
But was thinking of getting a set of Michelin Exaltos, could anyone let me know if you have any expreince with using these tyres and whether they are any good in wet/dry conditions cheers
You just want to use the fuel with the highest octane rate. Burns better and is better for the engine, in Japan they use like 100 ronand here the best we have is 98ron so best to use that if ya can.
Sorry mate, too far away from me, Im sure that powerflow would not ask the place to fit their exhausts unless they were good, wouldnt want them to give them a bad name and that eh!
Yeah been looking on the meguairs website, but nothing specific really.
Do you think I can use the solution that I use for my alloys it is acidic though and so thought this not such a good idea
Has anyone else with a mk1 172 experienced any gearbox problems or gearbox noises.
Could you let me know as mine doesnt sound right. Seems to whine alot, makes the car sound like it needs an oil change on idle, but have just had one, so isnt that.
The rear badges should be attached to a platic lower bracket, depending on which model RT you have. If so the bracket can just be unscrewed. Otherwise better off getting someone else to do it, as those little holes you are left with are a right bugger to fill.
Wickeda, am looking for some good 195/50/15s rockport, and live near to Elite, will paying them a visit next week I think
Really looking for some Michelin Pilot sports though, But just as good I suppose, not up on my tres tbh.
Thanks for the contributions guys, really looking forward to saturday now, I will take some Pictures for you guys to see,
The other good think is that apparently you dont see the backbox, because the majority is at the top if you get me.
Will let you know about motorway travelling too...
Well Basically I wanted a single round exhaust jap stlye but they only seem to be custom ones and am not too keen about that.
This was is froma guy in brighton and is £286.50 for the whole system and is a 4" round single, obviously not jap style but close enough.
I wasnt keen on scorpion...
Quite good actually, You should actually ring up the companies though and see what they can offer you first eh.
Check out the people who make the rsr rear bumper with those exhausts
After reading all the power gains etc for the different Exhaust systems that have round tail pipes I have decided to get the scorpion System with a 101mm round end.
From the different brochures I looked at it seems to give the best power increase (combined with the induction kit) for the money...
