You guys should contact Torsion Tuning. When I was thinking of having my old 1.2 16v converted to a GTT engine they could do it for £2000 all in and the engine he found for me had about 48k on the clock. However, I decided to go for a Cup as I had just got a new job etc... They even have GTT...

Gouys am thinking of getting a Hill Power chip as they are only £258.50 and fitting it myself, could you please let me know your views on this. I have a quickshift Taipan 2 induction kit and full exhaust system already so I want one that will compliment them.

Well That is what I thought. I knew it had a system in it before but I thought renault would have removed it properly but other day noticed a power cable sticking out of the vent at the back of the engine bay (top) where the washer bottle is. It had been cut so I presume renault were lazy...

Could you please tell me where the power cable goes. I have found it in the engine bay, But cant find it anywhere inside the car, really frustrating and dont really want to lay another cable when there is already one there

But they do, It is even listed as the one for the clio on the site, the 4" one is the hard one to get hold of.

Should my clio mk1 172 have a shift light. My cup did, But I still havent seen it on this car, Have taken it to the limiterin 2nd and still not seen it. Should it have one? and if you have the cup chipped does it stop the limiter light coming on, because I bought the car 2nd hand and it seems to...

Jay, Where abouts is the gearbox oil and what colour should it be (should it be like brown colour). Asking because when I depress the clutch slightly on deceleration it makes a grinding noise hard to here but can just about hear it, Am paranoid about gearbox problems as my last one blew up (RT)

No not exhaust or rear axle as have had a new scorpion exhaust system put on and started before that, seems to stop when I pull the headrest of the rear left seat towards me, Not sure if that is because of a diff weight distribution though. I have put some gaffa tape around the clip thatthe back...

check out the green air filter site they have loads of different size hoses for sale and pretty strong too.

Has anyone experienced any creaking/squeeking from the front suspension when the car is in full lock, if so please help as I am a little worried to say the least (mk1 172)

Take a look at the Infinity Basslink, has 2x10" subs in it and it is F***ing tiny

It is a sensor that goes into the exhaust system and measures how much oxygen or CO2 or what ever is coming out of the exhaust and makes adjustments to the fuel air mix going into the engine. Kind of tells the ecu the measurements of each (something like that).
