I have found the same prob mate, need to get used to them, Obviously because it doesnt have ABS they just increased the size of the discs so they lock up really easily, In desperate situations I just pump the brakes, seems to work well!
I have been told that eibach are the best and they lower the car by about 25mm. But speak to hill power as they do a couple of kits which have been tested to the max
Mine does it too, Also I think most of the cups have the same rattle, mine does and so did the one I test drove.
