I went into Renault today and all they could come up with is a poor diagram of a ph2 fbw diagram and no way of finding out wether I can buy a throttle position sensor on it's own. He is saying it's the whole tb or nothing at all, without a part number.
I need it for a ph1, it's the last...
possibly caused some damage when it was low before then. piston rings etc wont cause it to run any differently unless theyre drastically fooked. might be worth hunting a replacement engine if theyre cheaper?
The crimps and hest shrink etc that I used for my engine loom (suggested by Matt, for me on a budget) cost less than £10, I use solder at work every day but that's in electric components and small handsets that don't get the abuse of an engine loom, And more to the point, soldering the joints is...
Revels, from what I've learnt with doing the ones with Shadowness it doesn't look too bad, we use a 4 second shutter speed (I think) and various filters too. Practice makes perfect :)
I dont do drugs or drink excessive amounts, I wonder how much folk on here piss money down the drain every Saturday night and spend all Sunday recovering.
None of you slate burpspeed, JMS or englebert for spending endless monies on race cars which get driven say 10 times a year but happily...
im getting 28mpg on a normal run with a dodgy lambda sensor, alot less if WOT all day long. as sam says, if your spending £3-5k on the engine, a few mpg arent your concern any more
dumb yanks, dont like anything european. bit of a generalisation, but you get my drift lol. do they take into...
i think for a long term reliable option id walk away from Renault boxes altogether, VAG box can take 400bhp all day long. needs a lot of fabrication work though as they use M9 bolts on the flywheel or something like that. keep us updated
The rotrex is nearing it's limits at that power surely? Thought 330bhp was about as far as we can take them. ***just read the tech data, they reckon it's rated to 400bhp***
Bare in mind that mine making 273bhp, the engine is probably running near 300bhp with 20-30bhp being used just to turn the...
