I think it's hilarious how annoyed people are getting over it. Yes it's a lot of money, but it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Its not how I'd spend £600k but, if you're a billionaire and have loads of cars, why wouldn't you?
R34 GTT. Chatted to the owner. Freshly built RB25 with CP pistons, Tomei cams, big turbo etc etc. Also had GTR bumpers, Nismo-style bonnet and BBS wheels. He said it was about 600bhp.
It's sad really, as the Carfection stuff was really good. It's clearly just not what a lot of people want though. It baffles me what does and doesn't get views though. I put a really badly edited video up a few weeks ago and it's had 11k views so far. It was so bad that I didn't even realise I...
That doesn't seem too bad to me. Last time I was looking at stainless exhausts, a lot of off-the-shelf systems for hot hatches are nearly £1k now. I remember buying a cat-back system for sub-300 back in about 2005 :(
Closed-road events are beyond a lot of clubmen, but I think that's probably the case in a lot of countries. They're not entry level events at the end of the day though. The lack of affordable single-venue rallies is really problematic for sure, especially in certain parts of the country. Entry...
Some of these aren't mega close, but there are quite a few events that you could get to, as well as the one mentioned above. Some of the websites haven't been updated for 2023 yet, but the dates are all correct:
East Riding Stages, Feb 26th: https://www.bdmc.org.uk/east-riding-stages

They are, but this makes it looks 1000x more obvious. Each to their own ultimately, but they look gash in my view. And not in a fresh 18-year old college chick way. In a chunky, fifty-year old growler way.
I know they are, but that doesn't make them look any better. They totally spoil the balance of the car because the side skirts end up sitting lower than the front bumper.
Nice build (apart from the awful skirts and splitter), but I'm not sure a 550bhp Clio appeals a lot to me. Doesn't really seem in keeping with what they're all about somehow.
Saw a Huracan STO on my way to work this morning. Didn't have time to get a picture as it was coming out of a side road, but it was in the same awful colour combination as this one:
Saw this on Pistonheads. These are a popular drift car in Saudi, and @P-Co had said he had thought about importing one. If you can put up with LHD, it seems pretty good value for a 2014 350bhp RWD coupe with a manual 'box and only 27k on the clock.

As you say, radiator supports rot, but it's not that expensive to sort out, so don't worry too much about it. Gearbox crunching is pretty standard, but not such a big issue (and an excuse to fit an LSD). Suspension bits are more expensive than a 1*2, as they have the twin-pivot hubs, so worth...
The two-door Impreza WRC is pretty much the best looking rally car ever. As you say, the WRC arches look a lot better than the ones on the 22B. The proportions are just spot on.
You need to try and get a copy of the little lip they had on the bottom of the front bumper on tarmac. Will be...
Over 50k with the options isn't it? And will only be sold in tiny numbers.
What a shame. The hot hatch market is getting a bit depressing now. This segment is getting to be mega expensive, and Ford are quitting it with the death of the Focus. Renault and Vauxhall have already gone. By next...
In the case of Ford, it's because no one wants small cars anymore. That's why the Corsa topped the UK sales charts, obviously.
Don't understand what they're doing really. It made sense when they were trying to globalise everything, but they seem to be going backwards. The likes of BMW are...
Some questionable mods, but I always quite liked those. Mad that Vauxhall made a VXR version of pretty much everything, then threw it all away and now make nothing of interest at all.
It's up for more than I paid for it in 2019 I think. Can't remember exactly what I gave for it. It's a shame about the problems. The body work was really good for its age when I had it, and I replaced 90% of the suspension.
He's the third owner since I sold it though. The guy who bought it from...
