    What Car after a 182?

If you want something of a similar nature but a bit more modern, I'd be looking at a Megane 250/265/275, or a MK7 Fiesta ST. Both a bit less frantic, but better every day cars while still being a lot of fun.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I suspect that will start to happen with a lot of these channels if they're not careful. There are only so many times people want to watch someone buy a s**t example of a car and fire a parts cannon at it, with a Car Vertical ad thrown in for good measure too of course.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I'm getting so bored of the "I've bought the cheapest/shittest/oldest/fastest/crashest in the world" videos. I actually like videos of cars being rebuilt, restored or modified, but the likes of TDC and AA doing the same video over and over and over and over and over again with a slightly...

    First Clio - 2014 Mk4 RS 200 EDC

Wheels look nice! I'm not a fan of any of the OEM wheel options, so these are a big improvement!

Isn't that Uno Turbo the one that was on Car SOS?

Yep, a Del Sol. My mum has had two of them.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

Doesn't surprise me. Someone I follow on socials bought the pink ex-Max Power Escort from him. It was a bit of a mess, and he'd lied endlessly about the spec/condition of it. Makes me wonder what kind of shape the cars he gives away are in.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

His Instagram feed is just full of competition stuff, so maybe he is focusing on giveaway cars. Always struggled with him a bit to be honest. Another of the ones who drives like an absolute weapon on camera.

Love the SCCON sticker. That is one deeply '80s club logo!

    Clio 172 Road Rally Car

It's been a good while since I've been there to be honest, but it does seem to have plenty of in-field etc. to work with. That said, most of the UK circuits now host stage rallies, so you'd think they could use a similar layout to the stages they use there. Guess it comes down to cost though...

    Clio 172 Road Rally Car

I really like the idea of those rally track days. It's a shame more circuits don't offer them.

Has anyone rattle canned their front bumper?

This is the thing I have noticed. For some reason, when I've painted stuff with a gun and compressor, it has been wayyyyyy more durable than stuff done with rattle cans.

About $13k all-in. That's with upgraded pistons and rods etc.

Minor update; he showed me the quote for his new 454ci engine :ROFLMAO:

    The Cars Spotted Appreciation Thread

Not sure if this is the right thread but f**k it. A colleague took me out in this yesterday, as he is super proud of what he's done to it. It's had a 6.2-litre engine swap (I think it was 5.3 as standard), then he's added a different cam, long tube manifolds and a different inlet manifold. He's...

    Clio 172 Cup

Looks nice that. I'd still like a relatively standard 172 Cup as a weekend toy. So many good memories of my old one.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I struggle a bit with Ben Collins' stuff. He's obviously a handy driver, and isn't terrible on camera, but he knows so little about cars it's almost painful. I watched one of his videos the other day where he was talking about hydraulic handbrakes and said they were different because they work...

    The 90's best car decade!

Love it. I think the one I drove was around 160bhp, but still felt spritely. I knew a few people that jumped from modified RS Turbos to Cossies and were disappointed until they started modifying them. I got a ride in Christian Major's S2 RS Turbo once, during the era when they were going for...

    The 90's best car decade!

The first hot hatch I ever drove was a Fiesta RS Turbo. It had been chipped and had a couple of other bits and felt like a rocket at the time, as well as sounding really good. They get a bit of stick for not handling well, but I think they're still super desirable. A proper little tearaway of a car.

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

I'm amazed the track operators haven't told him to do one to be honest. He seems like a total liability.

Hit and miss as in sometimes he actually misses the barriers? :ROFLMAO: Absolutely no way I would let him drive my car.

    New, Fully Electric Renault 5

I suspect it's as much because it's the first moderately interesting affordable EV as because it's actually anything like an R5 GTT. And the Alpine version is one of the first affordable EV hot hatches. In that respect, it's a pretty important car for enthusiasts, as it's a glimmer of hope that...

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

Downloaded RBR tonight. Seems to be working ok on the laptop with just keyboard inputs (though is obviously impossible). Will connect to the TV tomorrow and see if it works so smoothly when I try to connect the wheel etc!

    Evo Podcast - Hot Hatches

Agreed. I've noticed they've started to leave him out of some videos, even when he's present. He was at the RS3/A45/GRY test but didn't appear on camera. A great writer, but not a presenter by any means. You can quickly tell which ones are suited to it. Catchpole and Bovingdon are good. Meaden...

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

I suspect they put the Rally3 and Rally4 cars in because they were increasingly glaring omissions for a game that's supposed to reflect the current WRC. Not having the latest cars in didn't look very good. I'm fine with it to be honest, as I spend more time driving cars like that than all the...

What's your favourite car related YouTube channel?

That latest video with Taylor is actually alright. They've cut the bullshit and shouting and it was just him talking about and working on a car he really likes. Obviously it's not going to be shouty enough for the algorithm though.

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

Yeah it's probably the worst addition in the pack in a way, as it wasn't a great car. There are so many things they could add to it, and plenty I would have picked above that Focus.

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

Some decent updates coming by the looks of it. A load more stages for Sweden and Greece, plus another six new cars. I thought the Clio Rally3 and Rally4 had been a big omission, so nice to see those in there, and another of the 2017-21 WRCs added. That Michelin Pilot livery on the Escort...

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

The thing I miss from Dirt 2.0 is Rally Germany. It had plenty of run-off, so was a good place for experimenting, and parts of it felt a bit like some of the stuff you'd see on club/SV rallies, so was a bit more like events I might actually be able to do in real life. On the subject of EA WRC...
