I'm a total noob with this kind of thing, so not really sure what I'm looking at. Is that the best version? Ideally I need something totally idiot proof :ROFLMAO:
Does anyone on here have any experience with Richard Burns Rally? I've been wondering about trying it but, with people modifying it over the years, what's the deal? Where can I download the game and the relevant updates?
I always thought it was a bit daft that they threw the RS brand away, as it carried a lot of weight in sporting terms, and I'm not sure if people have really bought into the Alpine branding.
I'd love to see a return for some sort of RS Clio, but it would seem strange having the sporty 5 under...
Would normally be on the slam panel, just to the left of the bonnet catch as you look at the front of the car, so it's missing.
I dread to think how many MK1/2 Escorts out there are ringers. So many have been rebuilt using bits of other shells, or had old IDs put on to the new, Chinese bodies.
On the subject of the Irish stuff, I do have to mention Drift Games. They can be a bit click-baity and irritating at times, but it's hard not to respect them for what they've done over the last couple of years. Had their HQ burn down last year, lost basically everything but, by the end of the...
I've worked with them too. Manufacturers might spend huge chunks on market research, but that doesn't mean they always make good decisions. Remember Ford's Vignale idea a few years ago? Infiniti arriving in the UK and quickly disappearing again?
Don't get me wrong, there is obviously big...
Really don't get why people thought Taylor was the 'talent' on the AA channel. I always thought he came across as a bit of a bell end. He's like that one annoying c**t in your social group who spouts endless b****cks and tries to desperately to act like a lad. Pretty funny that they've basically...
That's absolutely true....to an extent. Obviously demand for faux-SUVs has exploded over the last decade-or-so, but I do think a little caution is required. After all, Ford told us that demand had dropped for the Fiesta because people were buying the Puma, but what was really happening was that...
When I heard an interview with the two from TDC, I got the sense that Alex pretty much owns them. They made it sound like they worked for him, but perhaps that was just the way it came across.
Looks alright, but wish we could ditch this silly trend of trying to make everything look like an SUV. It would look 100% better if the ride height was more sensible.
"It really impacted my mental health" is the go-to when any YouTuber/influencer gets found out for doing something dodgy these days. They play it to try and win sympathy.
Having watched the video, it seems like the guy who did the work tried to be reasonable, but it was a mistake to open...
What I don't understand about Ford is that they're releasing cars that all do basically the same job. In the last few years, they've released the Mustang Mach-E, the electric Explorer and now this Capri. They're all a similar size and all a similar price, so how are they doing anything other...
Yeah I was the same. I don't mind some of the older cars with stupendously low mileage, as they might have an interesting story behind them but, if you've reached a point where you're buying brand new cars and rolling them out of the dealership and into a museum, some of the magic is lost.
You are - sadly - mistaken. He has also had it on 19" replicas of the standard wheels, which look cartoonishly large:
Or there are these two, which are an exercise in choosing wheels that don't suit the lines of the car in the slightest (and air ride on an Escort Cosworth just baffles me).
In fairness, it was a factory option to delete the whale tail and adjustable front splitter on the later, small turbo cars, so it is kind of OEM. It doesn't look bad as such, but it definitely looks like there is something missing.
I follow him on Instagram. Can never make my mind up if I like the whale tail delete. Looks ok, but it also feels like it's removing one of the cars signature features.
Louvres definitely look shite though. They don't suit it in the slightest.
Interesting that he's sticking the knife into DT so openly. Not sure what to make of the Ford guy to be honest. Wasn't he also involved in "restoring" the pink ex-Max Power Escort? That all went south too as I recall. I can't say I'm surprised that DT tried to screw them though. Fernie knows...
Aside from a few diehards, I don't think so. Books and vinyl have seen something of a resurgence, but I think they're slightly different. Both offer a more tactile and engaging experience than their digital counterparts. For films, I think people generally just want convenience, and streaming...
