The Williams/16v steering wheel is gorgeous. The best factory wheel ever made IMHO. Youd have to be mad to pay £100+ for a Momo rip-off of a Renault classic...what I mean by that is that all the decent Momo designs are pretty much the same as the original Williams/16v one. Proper stitched...
No reason why you cant post on here...youre driving a Renault and its the same lump as a 16v Clio, so why not!
Anyway glad you got it sorted...Wongy you had any luck yet mate?
If its the same as mine, then its an ignition module - in other words, a coil and amplifier built into one unit.
Mine has never needed upgrading and it has to work hard at 7000 rpm firing a 100 shot of nitrous/fuel, so I wouldnt worry about changing it unless you actually need to.
hehe good call Jon, I didnt mean that its easy to get spot on, but the way I have it set up is the *only* practical way to be able to do any on-car adjustments at all! As far as the air/fuel ratios go, that is spot on, and it is fairly easy to do. Just that a nitrous system isnt just about AFR...

I think it looks good. Different as well, the bumpers arent too fiddly and OTT. I seem to recognise the skirts and spoiler but have never seen the bumpers before. Either its a computerised mock-up ( a good one) or its a kit thats out on the continent.
Top marks.
Use the standard lama sensor signal between the sensor and the ECU. If memory serves me correctly, its pin 37 on the ECU that you need to tap into.
Demon Tweeks dont do them. When I was looking for one last year, the weird thing was that such an essential gauge was almost impossible to find...
Best bet is to do all the mods and then keep your car permanently locked in a garage and never drive it.
BTW Sylvia you realised I was joking didnt you? Saying that though, I know someone whos been crashed into by an uninsured, untaxed motor. The only winner was the bloke who was driving...

Good call Joe, but no, I need the adjustability - I like to make on-car adjustments and road test on a road, not rollers. I cant be driving around with a soldering iron plugged into the fag lighter every time I want to adjust the ECU and I cant afford a full Lumenition setup or Unichip. Plus...
Its down to the individual. Yes its likely that most of the time you will get away with less obvious mods even if you crash it. You only need to stack it into a tree once, and then be left with not much of what used to be thousands of pounds worth of car, before you will realise that maybe you...
They look wicked and can be kept clean easier. The benefit is that they basically wont ever split, like normal rubber hoses will as they perish over time. Also when Im working on the engine after a run, I used to quite often scald myself on the water hoses, but with silicone they dont seem to...
Its a lot easier with the battery out but can be done anyway. As Anders says, pop the clips off first, undo the three plastic turnscrew things facing the battery and then it just drops off.
Either put on 18s (guranteed to kill wheelspin -tried and tested!) or ditch the Yokes and put on some Goodyear Eagles F1s. Just sold a set but I was sorry to see them go, Ive tried a lot of tyres in my time but those were just incredible in the wet compared to anything Id driven before. The...
Eddddd - hmmm thats interesting that because I have fitted an Ecotek and know that it works, you lump me in with those who believe that higher octane fuel is like some kind of power boost formula or something. If you look back in the archives you will see that almost as soon as Optimax came out...

Nitrous Solutions did the original testing and running up when the kit was installed, resulting in a 60hp jetting. The standard nitrous jet sizes correspond to a standard fuel jet size which is not the same. Anyway they set it up slightly overrich to err on the size of caution, when I decided to...
hehe the problem is with your theories Joe that as usual a lot of people *do* run an Ecotek on their car and are happy with them. Whatever way you try and explain how something cannot possibly work, there are always plenty of people whove *actually done it* and will tell you that it works.
As...
