    Camber readings

Got my tracking done and had my camber checked at the same time, I've got - 1.0° left and - 0.38 right is this enough for me notice? I'm not happy with how my car feels through corner sago would like to get them at least even if not increased to - 1.5

    Climate help!

Looking at my receipt could it be the amount of refrigerant put back in only being 0.660kg?

    Climate help!

Not the environment but my car! Basically it's not blowing cold, things I've done are :checked the cogs in the footwell which are all good and you can hear the clunk when ac is on. The fan by the interior light runs so no problem there. What I do know is the pump clutch isn't engaging...

    Blowers won't go cold?

Mines not clunking when I turn air con on, I've looked for the broken cog but it's all ok. Appears to be the leak I've got at the dryer /receiver on mine so might be worth checking you haven't lost gas resulting in the pressure switch not allowing the air con to kick in.

    182 tuner list to Aug?

Firstly sorry but I've read all the threads and they are so contradictory. I've got the tuner list not update. What I want is a simple auxiliary to ipod 3.5 mm jack but keep reading that I need different units like connects 2etc. I realise I will lose all but volume control from the...

    Good one stop shop

So going back to my original question, what should I add to what I've got listed above to get a good detail done. I'm thinking of iron X and claying it? Really need some advice so I don't waste money buying similar products or using the wrong order.

    Good one stop shop

    Good one stop shop

Thanks, what should I use from my list of stuff I've already got and what should I get to do a clean /polish but not a whole day job?

    Good one stop shop

Basically I've got a few products but need some other bits to do a good clean/polish. The ones I have are autoglym shampoo, mer Polish, autoglym egp, autoglym tyre dressing. What else should I use like an iron/tar remover etc. And where is best to get them in one shop or online site?

Short of removing them is there a way of identifying worn top mount bearings?

    Camber Bolts / Camber Shims

Hmm, wish I'd waited to get my 4 wheel alignment done until after getting camber bolts. Thinking about it logically with the caster as camber increases I can see how toe in would be increased too. Still want more camber though
  16. DomP182

    Camber Bolts / Camber Shims

Assuming the toe was dead straight and you went from stock tolerance camber to - 1.5° what sort on toe in /out would you be likely to get?

    P0301 misfire in cylinder one.

Seems to be a regular thing blocked injectors, I agree best way to identify ifs just remove plugs and put back on one by one until the engine doesn't sound any different, that being your faulty injector.

    Toe in, toe out

Just had my tracking done which has made it feel better turning in, before It was 0°08' total toe, now its - 0°14'total toe. Does a bit of toe out improve cornering turn in our is it psychological?

    Replacing receiver dryer, air con.

Right, so I bother replacing the receiver of just put new o rings on it? £75 for the receiver which is a lot of it doesn't need it.

Air con pump not kicking in

We checked the fuses, don't know which of the 3 wires to bridge to check but I have read not to. There is a fair amount of green fluid around the receiver/dryer so I guess this must be the issue but weirdly it detected no leaks and when tested five mins after a regass didn't run. Again...

    Replacing receiver dryer, air con.

Anyone ever done this and can I do it if my refrigerant has leaked out?
  23. DomP182

Air con pump not kicking in

So I can't just pop it off and put a new gasket on then? I seem to remember he put 0.660kg in. It's definitely the aluminium house that runs behind the rad to the passenger side that's leaking where it goes into a 2" diameter 8" long cylinder, where can I get a gasket to sort it?

Air con pump not kicking in

Air con pump not kicking in

A development, on looking for the pressure sensor (which I found) I discovered yellow /green refrigerant leaking from whatever it is the pipe goes to after the pressure sensor. What is this and how do I fix it? And is it why the pump isn't kicking in.
  26. DomP182

Air con pump not kicking in

Cool I will try that when I know which to bridge. Cheers.

Air con pump not kicking in

To be honest it was probably longer than 20 mins, the whole process was over an hour. How do I jump the pressure switch, Bridging terminals? Oh and where is it? Cheers Dom

Air con pump not kicking in

He ran a 20 min. Pressure test too.

Air con pump not kicking in

It was tested immediately after a vacuum and refill so I'm hoping it would have been full. The bloke was looking for a plate on the car to tell him how much refrigerant needed to go in which he couldn't find??
