Replacing receiver dryer, air con.

Anyone ever done this and can I do it if my refrigerant has leaked out?

Yes i fitted a new one to my PH1 and it was out of refrigerant.

I would do the rubber o'rings whilst your faffing with the aircon.

Need to be aircon specific ones aswell, green.
standards will just dry up and crack

I'd also add that universal ones tend to be slightly out size wise so I'd recommend Renault ones.

Right, so I bother replacing the receiver of just put new o rings on it? £75 for the receiver which is a lot of it doesn't need it.
