Today I had a few hours spare so carried on spraying the stripped interior matt black. No pics yet as I have used 2 cans, and still nowhere near finished :(
It does look a lot better/ tidier though.
I disagree. Everyone who has picked the bag of tar up is surprised at how much the discarded tar actually weighs.
It does leave a mess, but I am going to spray the interior matt black anyway.
If that was the case the 172 cup with have the tar patches fitted!
I removed all the tar patches from my 172 last week.
I bought a heat gun from Machine Mart £20 that and a chisel/ paint scrapper makes light work at removing the tar, even on setting one!
Well worth doing. I now have a very heavy carrier bag full of tar.
From what I have seen the RS models are built better than the 1.2s ( other not RS versions)
I've no problems with my 172 other than wear and tear. Now on 131k.
I am working on it Tim, I've got a long list of things to buy for it!
Cheers Lawrence, they've been sat in a box for 2 years waiting to go on.
You and the guys at Failsport have nothing to worry about Dave. Team Anorak still have a lot to learn..lol
What size M10 would fit. 20mm eye bolt...
Thanks for the progress update Tim.
Yes your R26 isn't shy at all mate.
....I think I am going to order a passenger side seat soon. I miss scaring my passengers ;)
