Or a completely different one :S here...
You sarky old git. I just thought for a race series, largely (at least initally) made up of members (if this thread is anything to go by) then it might be a nice touch.
Eddie, you've taken the thing apart, you've got all the bits, why not head down to a brake specialist or a motorsport place and see if they have new exact equivalent bits rather than buy a kit?
You may get lucky.
They were doing EXACTLY what was in Darren's thread above.
Basically, when you fit the discs, you try to move one bit, and don't try to move the other (as it sort of looks like it should be static).
You can't get the nut in. You go mental. Then, if you have an IQ above that of a...
TBH, after reading the last few, people are right, it won't be difficult to spot the cheats in what is supposed to be an evenly matched field. Have a ban system put in place and point deducted or similar, should secure that it's not worth it.
I look forward to reading Tony's rules and doing...
Yes, but then it's the time of building another.
You can't just enforce a spend limit as you can't prove what someone has spent. But if you, in theory, had something like chip says, where someone hands you 7k, you have to build another car with some of that money, then give yours over... so...
LOL! Yes, I'm sure everyone would be annoyed that someone was a better driver than them.... because that's well unfair. Perhaps we should put stockings over Sam's head so he can only see a little?
I hope there's not all this BS going on when it really happens but I guess we'll see.
f**k me dude that's awesome. I have no reason at the moment to do 3d stuff so I haven't really learnt. I've just been told my latest project will involve BIM, so that's going to give me something to do!
You have to choose three cars, introduced in your year of birth. For me 1988.
Pics necessary, as this is a media thread after all.
Right then, after a quick thread change, here's mine. It's harder now as they have to have been introduced in your year of birth (as opposed to just being produced...
Only just seen this one, I've been offered to be trained in BIM.
It's pretty mental TBH, and makes pricing jobs amazing.
The level of detail you can go into, the way you can schedules of rates applied to materials, then just change the material and the rates change and update the job...
Right, so I'm a pretty damn efficient 2D cad user, working with building plans most of the time, I never stray into 3d.
So, my holding down shift and using the middle mouse, I've gone into 3D, (deliberately, as I'm currently designing a drip tray).
So, I held shift, entered an isometric view...
