yeah its a fault with the alarm. Edde posted a thread about it. There's a fix code you can take into renault to rectify it. I had mine done. its because the ECU is still receiving a signal from the Ignition.

The ECU still thinks the ignitions on. Get out of the car and lock it slower and it won't do it. There's a fix for it in the members section... shame you're not a member

if they're anything like the old RSs... they're in their prime at 40k miles. So many 197s have a lot of miles to do before they're at their best!

Thats MarkCup's car, who has an Origin B2 cam detector fitted. These can be set to beep at a desired speed.

indeed... as The Burp said, its only the remote locking that comes pre-programmed from France. They program the immobiliser when the key gets to the Uk, which you have been quoted £65 for.

there isnt a cheaper route. the keys come pre-programmed for your car from France. I paid £120 for a key in my old old 1.4 16v

you took them off tonight... have already primed them and applied the base coat... and already you want to put the laquer on them? My advice is to wait... concentrate on the prep work and at least let the paint cure for 24 hours before laquering them! I think silver writing would look good.

nope. you put 40 litres in, which is how much I usually 'fill up' with when my light comes on. All clios have 50ltr tanks I always use V-Power which costs more though... so more like £45
